Details: 21* sonartec hybrid, model HB-001, with regular flex shaft.

Purchase: My friend purchased it from the 'Used' bin at Golf Galaxy. Price $69.99
Pros: I have two Sonartec MD Hybrids, and I've always been happy with them. REcommended the brand to a friend should he see a bargain, as the company is no longer in business. The R flex shaft is a good one, and it plays fairly firm, much like a decent R flex steel shaft's flex, but without the weight. Not whippy, and it doesn't ballon the ball. Good solid feel.
Cons: Prefer the previous model, the MD Hybrid. As noted earlier, my buddy purchased this one. I tried it at the driving range. The head is smaller and less boxy than the original MD Hybrid models. I prefer the older style.
Quality: Very good club, as it was in excellent condition despite being in the 'used clubs' bin.

Review Summary: A good buy considering what it originally sold for. It was Sonartec's last hybrid model before they went out of business. Nowadays many companies make good hybrids, but once upon a time only a few made decent ones, and Sonartec was the best at that time. I just like the bigger looking head of the prior model to their final model, the HB-001.
