Purchase: I bought this club used on eBay for $95 dollars. It was in excellent condition, with only a few scratches on the sole of the club. Seller said he'd only used it a few times on the course, and a couple times at the range.
Pros: I already owned the 21* MD Hybrid with the UST IROD shaft in R flex, so I figured I'd like the 23* to take the place of a four iron. While I usually hit a four iron decently, I always hit the Sonartec well. Plus, it has a very penetrating trajectory, which I like. I've tried other hybrids, but they simply hit the ball too high for my liking. The Sonartec is easy to get in the air, feels solid, extremely so, and yet it has that bullet like trajectory that you want from a low lofted iron. Hence, it doesn't lose distance because of too much backspin, it performs well into the wind, and it doesn't balloon on you. The UST IROD shaft really feels great too. I originally thought that shafts specific for hybrids was just alot of hype, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The shaft does what they claim it does.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Quality: Excellent quality. I bought it used, and it seems to be in great shape. It may not have worked for the previous owner, but I sure like it.

Review Summary: The head is an unusual shape, sort of a rectangular boxy shape. If you have no problems with aeshtetics, this club will really perform for you.
