Details: 23 degrees of loft fitted with UST IROD hybrid shaft in a regular flex coloured in Sonartec silver/blue livery as opposed to USD silver/red. Golf Pride Tour Velvet

Purchase: Purchased on Ebay for 89 GBP. I bought this club to give me a more penetrating flight and for the increased carry distance afforded by the graphite shaft.
Pros: Visually this is a very attractive club at address. The head sits nicely behind the ball and is encouraging to look at. The impact sound is a crisp ringing and the ball flies off the face with a penetrating flight giving excellent distance and a bit of roll on landing. Minor set up changes allow you to hit a high ball and this club is excellent for low punches under trees. It is an easy club to hit out of light rough. Not quite as effective out of heavier rough due to the light(ish) head. Unlike by Hogan CFT hybrid which gives the ball a good thump out of heavy rough.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike about this club.
Quality: This club is very well build and uses quality components.

Review Summary: This hybrid is not quite as forgiving as some other offerings on the market. However you don't need a scratch player's swing to use this club. It is one of the more powerful hybrids around due in some part to its lower more penetrating flight. Beautifully crisp off the face and confidence inspiring at address. The lack of offset means that a poor release will result in a block to the right but players with a good authoritative release will not fear a hook.
