Purchase: The pro at my club gave me a demo box she got from the Srixon vender. I was complaining about my driving accuracy. So to make a long story endless they were free. Pros: In my little experment I played the Srixon UR-X and a Srixon AD333 that my pro also gave me, and one of my Titleist Pro V1's.
I was shocked hole after hole to see how accurate the UR-X was. The AD 333 wasn't for me. Off the tee with my driver or 3 wood I lost about 3 yards in distance with the UR-X compaired to the Pro V1. I hit the Pro v1 about 265 yrds and the UR-X 262 yrds. What I lost in yardage I made up ten fold in accuracy. I split the fairway everytime with the Ur-X. The Pro V1 was more unreliable for me. It was a coin toss weather it was going to be in the fairway or the rough. The UR-X was very similar in feel to the Pro V1.
I told my pro that using these things was like cheating.... Cons: The dislikes are few but important. I loved the feel of that soft cover, however I could see that the balls were not going to last many round either. From my first shot with my irons I started shredding small pieces off the cover. In the course of a round It didn't seeem to effect the accuracy. I'll have to get back to you and let you know at what point the balls become unusable. Second problem has been mentioned b-4, the price. I got my box of three for free. When I got home I started to check the internet for these babies and was disapointed to see that they were only about $2.00 - $3.00 a box less that the Pro V1's Quality: I'm not an expert on these balls but I can tell you what I know. They are a three piece construction. With a VERY soft cover, which offers great feel but poor duribility. Oh yeah, they are round with dimples and they are white. Thats about All I know. Review Summary: Over all I'm going to switch to the UR-X because of the great success I had with them. The pro V1 is still a great ball and I would recomend testing your ball against any new ball to see if there is enought difference to make a change.

Purchase: Tried a sleeve of them at my local course. I think they were $8.99 a sleeve. Wanted to see if these stack up to the other top balls. Pros: Very soft cover. I could tell right out of the box these things would spin like mad, and it did! The length is awesome. Like a super ball off the driver, and you can really feel them compress off irons. With the wedges these babies were dancing on the green. Easy to suck it back ten or more feet if you have to. Cons: They are really pricey. They do about the same thing as the ProV's and Tour Aces of the world. You would have to want to play something different for the sake of playing something different to choose these. As good as anyhting out there, but no better really, either. Quality: Very good quality. Stood up to a full round of abuse including wedges. Review Summary: Really nice performing ball. As good as anything, but no compelling reason to buy these over another premium brand. If Srixon wants to compete, they'll have to lower their prices or other larger manufacturers will continue to dominate. If you like to go with the underdog, and in this case not give up any performance, than check these out.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
