On 2005-06-22, Tony Pezzolesi rated this SwingSure A Pro in Your Pocket a 5...(5701)

Purchase: I picked up this scoredcard that was sitting on a table in my local club. It is called a pro in your pocket, it's the same size as a normal card but it has 3 pictures in it showing a fairway, green and putting surface. I was quite intrigued by this so I logged on to their site(www.swingsure.com) It explained how to fill the card in whilst going round the course. It then told me I had to enter in the details after the round. They are doing a 30 day free trial at the moment so check it out
Pros: It's simple to fill out the details on the card and the Web site is great.More than anything it has made me think about my course management and how I should using my shots during a round. When you log you round in(this part is really nifty)I am able to get mty stats and compare myself with other golfers and get tips from their pro. (I think it is Richard Boxall from Sky Sports)I have now filled in a few rounds and started to realise I am not a strong in putting as I thought I was. I have now decided to have some lessons with a pro. I showed him the card and he thought it was ingeneous and told me to keep filling them out.
Cons: It seems a new site so there is not enough people but I see more and more scores are being posted. The card doesn't allow you to put your stableford points on but I usually work those out after.
Quality: The card is like a normal 4 sided scorecard. It has 3 sides which have pictures of a fairway, approach to a green and a putting surface. You enter where your shots have gone by placing a pencil mark on the scorecard(Top tip write the hole number beside the mark-you will find out why!)

Review Summary: This is so simple and yet so effective, the card is simple, entering the details on the web site is simple and the information you get out is great. I have used it a few times now and I am just starting to see the benefits I am sure by the end of the season I will have dropped my handicap significantly and it's all down to understanding my game. A great product try it!!
