Purchase: from golfers warehouse
Pros: any player whos been using the prov1 needs to try the tp red.every year I try the new competition(ie hx tour,nike one b330s)and they never knock the provs out of the bag until now.this is 10 -15 yards longer than the prov but has all the great tocuh and feel around the green.its like teeing off with a provx and then hitting your next shot with a prov.try it and IM betting you will ditch the prov!!!Im a certified club/equipt.junkie and never wrote a review for any products until this one.Thats how strongly I feel about this new ball.I did also buy the tp black and tried them,but they are too hot around the greens for me

Quality: played 9 holes with no scuffing or cutting on wedge shots.ball hols together very well

Review Summary: any prov players who thought they had to give up that 10 yds as a sacrifice for how great the prov is around the green,need to try the tp red!!!!!

Details: TaylorMade TP (Tour Preferred)

Purchase: I recently was able to buy a dozen of the brand new Taylormade TP Red golf balls. They sold for $40 a dozen at one of my local golf courses. A friend on mine had tried them and insisted that I do the same.
Pros: These golf balls are the best that I have ever hit...Yes, I have hit the Pro V1 and have played them, until now. This new ball from Taylormade is 15-20 yards longer off the tee than the Pro V1 or any other brand I have tried. They have a soft feel around the green and they putt really true. These are the best I have hit to date.
Cons: There is nothing that I don't like about them as of yet. They don't scare as easy as others I have played.
Quality: The quality of this new ball is outstanding.

Review Summary: For anyone that is hitting the top of the line Pro V1....just give this ball a try and see for yourself. It is longer and it hits so sweet.
