Purchase: I found it at my local golf shop on sale. I have a couple of old Taylor Made drivers and I have been happy with them. I compared prices and found that what they were asking for the club was good so I took that and a couple of other drivers of theirs to the practice range. I compared it to a Titleist driver and a King Cobra and found that I hit this one the best and it felt the best. Luckily for me, it was also the cheapest of the three I was considering at only $150.
Pros: The feel and weighting of the club is what I like the best. The club is somewhat forgiving but just like any club, if your swing is bad, you wont strike the ball well.
Cons: The club came with the stock grip which I was never a fan of.
Quality: Excellent as far as weighting and distribution. The club is solid and I have a stiff flex graphite shaft which seems to be the right shaft for me.

Review Summary: Great club and value for my game.

Purchase: Ebay-$265.00
Pros: I purchased a 9.5 540 with the stock Stiff shaft. My previous driver was a TM 250 Burner--SuperSteel. I have easily gained an extra 20-30 yards on my drives right out of the box. My miss hits go farther. My few miss hit slices seemingly drop quicker and stay in play. I was prepared to go to the range several times to get used to a new driver but after one visit to the range I was more than ready to use this puppy. This club breeds confidence!
Cons: The club looks beautiful but I'm afraid, just like black cars, every little scratch is going to show. Oh well--probably a marketing ploy to get you to step up to another new club by creating a premature perception of this one being worn out. We'll see.
Quality: Seems solid to me. TM does it right.

Review Summary: Every drive the first time out was playable. Most were in the fairway and longer than usual. This club will undoubtedly lower my handicap and most certainly will make my game more enjoyable!
