Purchase: BOUGHT IT ON EBAY, NEW FOR $ 120.00
Pros: GOOD SWINGWEIGHT AND FEEL, GREAT LOOKS,NICE COLOR,AND LOTS OF TECNOLOGY, ALSO LIKE THE FACT THIS DRIVER WAS CREATED BY THE JAPANESE, AND IS VERY POPULAR THERE.
Cons: NOT SO KEEN ON THE MYLAR SHINY PIPING, ITS A BIT GAWDY, THE GRIP SHOULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER
Quality: QUALITY IS TOP NOTCH, LOTS OF TECNO HERE. THE SHAFT INVOKES CONFIDENCE.

Purchase: Purchased new on Ebay for $240. This replaced a Cobra 350 SS driver.
Pros: I'm an average golfer who typically hits the driver with a high fade. I hit the 540 XD more consistent the the 580 XD and my old Cobra driver.
Cons: Tends to still launch the ball higher than I would prefer.
Quality: The look and feel of the club is great. The grips was poor, so I put a different grip on it.

Review Summary: I'd rate it above average. I've demoed the R7 and like it better than the 540 XD, but the price is steep.
