Details: 9.5* 45' soft tip

Purchase: I have a nice set of Taylor Made Burner Plus Drivers with stiff shafts but have difficulty keeping the Driver on the course. I blamed it on my lack of playing time and decided to drop down to a regular shafts for all my clubs. I bought this on Ebay for ~$50 used but in very good condition.
Pros: The head is big for what I'm used to but it sets up nicely. Unusually light for what I'm used to. Feels like I'm swinging a feather. It really goes when I hit it. I estimate 250 yds in the air, high loift and drops down with little roll.
Cons: The club is too light and though I feel like I'm hitting it a ton, I can't keep it in the fairway without significant compensation. I hit consistent fades/slices. I'm guessing the soft tip isn't bringing the head back into postion at time of impact. Maybe a different shaft would work, I don't know.
Quality: Well built, very light weight, with a whippy feel.

Review Summary: I don't consider myself a student of the industry, just my game and I have a good idea what is right for me. I should be using stiff shafts if I played quite often but they hurt my game if I get limited playing time. So I need a strong regular shaft. I believe this club is better fited for the 'easy swinger' due to the soft tip...I guess. I think it's a very nice club but not for me.
