Details: Regular shaft, 9.5*
Purchase: $200 from PGA Tour Superstore in Frisco, TX. Received as a present, but tested it against other drivers and decided to stick with it. Pros: I hit this thing father than ANY other club I tried. I'm breaking 250 with an easy swing! Cons: Does scuff easy. I'm still getting my swing under control and the bottom already has a few scuffs. Quality: Solid, strong and lightweight Review Summary: I'd say even a better player would enjoy this club. BRAVO TAYLORMADE!

Details: 9.5* Shaft RE*AX Stiff
Purchase: Purchased at my home course's proshop for $261, what a deal! Pros: This club provides outstanding distance and is very forgiving. The light weight and 46 inch shaft really help boost swing speed. Even though the club is light, it has a heavy swingweight (D5) so I can always feel the club head. The Burner produces a powerful mid-high, boring trajectory though I can work the ball higher or lower. Any contact near the center of the club face will launch it long. It has a solid muted sound at impact which is a nice contrast to the clang or bang produced by many oversize drivers. When purchasing this club I also tested the Cleveland Hi-Bore. The Hi-Bore is a quality club but the Burner is about 15 yards longer. Cons: The only thing I dislike about the TaylorMade Burner is the 1* closed face. My natural shot shape is a draw so when I really got after it, the closed face sometimes gave me too much right to left movement (Can you say hook?) I added some lead tape to the toe of the club to keep the club-face from closing as quickly and it took care of the problem. Now I can swing as aggressively as possible without fear of a big hook. Quality: Quality club from an outstanding clubmaker. Review Summary: If you are looking for an easy-to-hit driver that instantly provides superb long distance, you have to check-out the Burner!
Also, this would be good club for golf need help with a fade/slice.
