Purchase: I bought this club from my local club shop with a driving range. I paid £79 and loved it on the range, clearing the 235 yard fence at the back twice. Pros: this club has improved the weakest part of my game, driving, alot during the past few months since i have acquired it. the large clubhead is very useful as even mishits travel very well. it has a very solid feeling when hit out of the middle which a lot of big headed drivers don't have. initially drove the ball very well, but now i hit it not quite as straight (that's down to me. It has increased my distance alot but not my accuracy as much i would have hoped. i used to play a mizuno t-zoid and a perfect hit with both clubs would result in the taylor made travelling 10 yards further. Mishits travel way better with the taylor made Cons: The grip is not brilliant in wet weather, which is not ideal for links golf which i play. The club will be illegal in 08 Quality: extremely well made like most Taylor Made products Review Summary: a good taylor made product that hits the ball long, high and with a hint of fade.

Purchase: I got it of county golf direct of the internet because old driver did not go very far Pros: easy to hit and went a long way when hit on the sweet point and even when miss hit it still went far Cons: cant find big tees for it! Quality: great Review Summary: the longest driver I have ever hit On 2003-09-01, Matthew Wilson rated this TaylorMade Burner 860 a 5...(2219)
Purchase: I recently bought this driver in nevada bob's golf for only £150, which was excellent considering the cheapest i have seen it on the net is 175. This club is fantastic! From the moment i started hitting it, i could feel the extra distance and roll i was getting. I purchased a 10.5 degree club with s-90 shaft. it is very very difficult to hit a bad shot with this thing, off centre strikes still fly long and straight, which is a blessing for high handicappers. When you really nail one out of the middle, the result is outstanding. the ball just carries for miles, and then rolls for miles as well! what an amazing driver for this price. i urge all players to buy it!! Pros: incredibly long and easy to hit Cons: my handicap has gone down because of it!! Quality: excellent, however inside the clubhead it seems a few tiny pieces have come loose and you can hear them rattling about if you listen carefully, however this happens in many drivers and doesnt affect the club at all Review Summary: BUY THIS DRIVER!!!!! Purchase: I purchased this driver at americangolf discount about six months ago. I paid £250 for it.
Pros: I am only 15 years old and have had numerous amounts of drivers, more than 15 and have only been playing for 3 years. I thought £250 was a little to much for the cheaper version of the taylor made R5, but i was absolutely mistaken, What a great club. With its 405 cc clubhead and a large forgiving sweetspot its hard to misshit, if your looking for a good club at a good price this is the one for you.
I had just turned 15 when i bought this club and was playing off a handicap of 16 off the back tees, but within weeks of having this club my handicap was reduced and i only used to hit hte ball about 200 yds with my old XR-03 and suddenly am hitting it 235-250 easy and am currently playing off a handicap o 9.9. Get this club Cons: nothing, its a wonderful club Quality: best club i have ver hit Review Summary:
