On 2007-07-10, sutski rated this TaylorMade R7 Superquad 10.5 Stiff a 5...(7846)

Details: Black face, 10.5 degr. Stock Stiff Shaft.

Purchase: Bought at Edwin Watts in Ft.L on my last trip to the USA...Yes I know Fleabay is cheaper but I went to a Leadbetter acadamy and straightened out my drives so I just had to get rid of my offset driver and buy a new one... :o)Paid $400 and got 15 Taylormade TP Black balls thrown in.
Pros: Looks fabulous. Black head and Black face are a joy to behold!! Shaft has normal TM colours and as a fairly big hitter I rightly went for the stiff flex(not the tour one which was $300 more expensive!!). The grip is also good to look at and has good reminder markings. I hit FT5, Rapture and Sumo etc. in the shop and for me there was no comparison in both the looks and more importantly the sound. To be honest it is impossible to judge a driver in a shop, I think you have to go with your gut!! After 4 weeks, I am hitting it more consistently than any other driver I have ever had (this is the 5th in 3 yrs :o)
Cons: I hate the fact you can alter the trajectory to exactly suit the course and conditions you are playing... ;o)
Quality: TM quality. Nothing more to say.

Review Summary: Truly honestly, I guess I am never going to alter the weights much, however I like the fact that I can :o) It is a fabulous club and I would recommend it (and especially the stiff shaft) to anyone who already hits it 250yds but who wants to hit 275. It could well be the last driver I buy. I am still smiling after hitting 8 over par yesterday (with no O of B !!)
