Purchase: I had to order it, because I wanted a use the custom shaft option they offer. Bought at Heron Lakes golf course in Portland Ore. At $300 I thought it was a little steep but they did do a gret job of fitting me so I gave them the order.
Pros: I have never realy been able to hit a 3 wood off the grass. I had bought a 540 driver and it got the ball out about 20-30 yards farther than my old Driver, so I thought I would give the 3 wood a try. I have always had a fade to my shots and it was going strighter than anything I have ever used. I had it shafted with a Fujikura, Vista Pro 70, Reg. I realy like the ball flight. For someone that has had trouble with gettign the ball up I would go with this shaft.
Cons: There is nothing I dislike about the club.
Quality: Taylor Made is knows quality and everyting about this club was done right.

Review Summary: I am a 13 hcp. in my early 50's, been playing about 30 years. This 3 wood in my bag makes me want to go at the 5 pars now rather than laying up to a wedge range. I also use it on tight fairways. I would recomend it anyone that has had trouble hitting a 3 wood off the grass to give this club a try.
