Purchase: Purchased from Golfsmith catalog for $235.00. My game was improving but at the local courses my 2nd shot, with my 3 wood, wasn't getting the distance needed. I needed distance and didn't like hard non feeling balls. I decided a strong 3 wood was the answer. After researching the internet and getting input from some of my playing partners the V seemed to be the fit.
Pros: 200-220 was my old standard per 3 wood , however right from the start I was getting 240+. The click I get from this club is a sweet sound and the control is so much better. In fact when my driver goes sour I go to my V and get 250+ off the tee and in the fairway. In my league I have gone from a 16-18 hdcp to an honest 10-12. This club is the biggest difference in my game. I even use it for some creative chips.
Cons: I under cut a few balls and the paint on the top of the club seems to skin too easy. Have had it repainted a flater black with a good hard protective finish.
Quality: Compared to my other four fairway woods this unit is a sleek black beauty. The sole wears well and the grip is good. The face of the club hasn't marred like other units after long use.

Review Summary: This club has a permanent spot in my bag. It may well become the first club that I will reshaft once my swing gets slower.
