Details: #7 wood with 21 degrees of loft, stiff stock MAS 2 shaft.
Purchase: I bought the Taylormade V-Steel new for about $149 at Golfsmith. Pros: This is the best fairway wood I've ever played. The stock stiff flex is what I would classify as 'moderately stiff' which for me, means not to 'boardy' yet not too whippy whereby I'll lose control of the club head. It's a smooth shaft to swing. Very balanced club overall. The head is the type of head i like for a fairway wood, as the face has enough depth for tee shots, but not too deep that fairway and rough shots are tough to hit solid and get in the air. It sets up great, and the 455 carpenter steel feels terrific. And talk about long! This club enacts little spin and a mid to high launch, that carries forever. The best club I own. Cons: The only complaint I can muster is that the paint does chip a bit around the edges but frankly this is a fairway wood and doesn't need to look pretty. The grip didn't suit me either, so changed from stock to GP Tour Wrap, maintaining the D2 swingweight I prefer. Quality: 455 carpenter steel is solid, feels great, will last forever. The shaft is durable. Review Summary: If you've been searching for a multi-use fairway wood that's long, with a mid to high trajectory, that sets up and feels great, this is your club. Affordable too.

Purchase: I purchased this club off of eBay for 150.00 (includinf shipping). I bought it because I needed a new fariway woood and it was a good deal. Pros: This is a great value, I have used many different fairway woods, but his is my favorite. I purchased the 3 wood (15 degree). Off the fairway I hit this club two hundred and twenty to two hundred and fifty yards. Off the tee, I hit the v-steel two hundred and seventy yards, which is good because I hit my Taylor Made r510 tp driver three hundred and twenty yards off the tee. Cons: Like most other taylor made clubs, the grip had to be replaced on this club, but otherwise, this club is an excellent value. Quality: This club has been constructed to perfection, I do not slice, hook or draw at all with this club. I can use this club on narrow fairways and consistently hit straight. Review Summary: This club is an excellent value!!
