Purchase: I have never had a 5 wood in my bag but needed that in between club. What I found was a great 5 wood that I hit farther than my 3 wood. Taylormade has made an outstanding product with this club. Easy to hit, its long and provides a great trajectory that can be manipulated to suit your shot. It has essentially taken the place of my 3 wood as well. I bought this club on ebay brand new for 114.58. A great deal.
Pros: Excellent feel and soaring ball flight. Easy to hit and very pleasing to look down at address.
Cons: The stiff shaft could be a bit stiffer. I hit it a little to far, now I have to buy a V-steel 3 wood.
Quality: The clubs seems to be the same great quality that taylormade has been putting out for many years. The shaft is made by fujikara, one of the most popular graphite shafts on tour. Standard grip is comfortable.

Review Summary: Excellent club providing great distance and very good accuracy. I think I will keep it in my bag for a long time.
