Purchase: I bought these irons about two years ago on ebay for approx. $200.
Pros: These irons have a great feel and are very forgiving. When I tried them out at a local golf range, the distance I gained was impressive. I then tried the new Ping G2 irons and found them to be less forgiving and have a worse feel then the 200's, which were $500 less. The 200 series also helped my get my long irons into the air better and more often. They are pretty heavy for an iron, but the weight gives me more control and distance on my shots.
Cons: I didn't like the grips because I normally don't use a glove when hitting my lower irons, and my hands would slip occationally, and with a grip there is no problem.
Quality: Excellent quality head, shaft and grip. All the irons remain in excellent condition after 2 years of play.

Review Summary: Although they are Taylormade's lowest iron, for $200 they are the best irons you will find.

Purchase: Recently purchased at Oshman's Sporting Goods for $299 for 3-PW. Bored of my Cleveland irons.
Pros: Control was the biggest factor in my purchase. After playing a round with my buddy's irons, I became a Taylor Made believer- plus it was less pricey than the RAC.
Cons: Was not really please with the grip.
Quality: Perfect.

Review Summary: For 299, they're a steal. I would recommend these to any beginner!
