Purchase: Had a couple of Firesole rackets for one week.
Pros: The outlook of graphite shafted clubs is excellent. The bubble shaft and colors simply look nice.
Cons: They feel too light. The swingweight is around C0 and it is definetely too low for most of us. The bubble shaft feels weird, the torque seems to be very low although the shaft is very flexible (standard flex). These two facts, low swingweight and low torque makes the club feel very harsh. The ball flies a lot shorted than using other clubs.
Quality: No problem with the quality. These had been played a lot and grips and shafts were in excellent condition.

Review Summary: These clubs are suitable for a person who has fast and not powerfull swing. For most of us these clubs are too lightweight

Purchase: After trying out numerous big-name irons, I decided that Taylor Made clubs just seemed to be more consistant with my game. I purchased my Firesole irons on Ebay for $175 from an individual who had played with them only a couple of times. The seller told me he loved the clubs, but that he couldn't get used to graphite shafts after using steel, so he ordered another set of Firesole irons with S-90 rifle steel shafts to replace them.
Pros: The feel of these clubs are perfect. The way that they are weighted, they tend to feel like an extension of your own body. I was so pleased by the way they perform that I replaced my favorite sand wedge with the Firesole, being that the set came 3-pw. Not only that, but I also purchased the Firesole driver and 3 wood, which is a whole other review.
Cons: The only thing that I would change if I was designing the club is the label on the back of the club head. Instead of having a sticker-type emblem, I would have had it engraved. I've had no problems out of them, but it just seems like it would be fragile. Of course, this is just a cosmetic thing and does not hurt the playability of these clubs at all.
Quality: The construction of the Taylor Made Firesole Clubs is phenomenol. Unlike any other irons, the Firesole irons are seperated into three different categories (long, mid, and short) and constructed according to the demands of each. The short irons are made of nickel and steel for proper weighting throughout the club head. The mid irons are made of steel with tungsten inserts in the foot for consistant weight transfer under the ball for a more consistant flight pattern. The long irons are made of titanium with tungsten inserts for a harder club face which makes for a longer ball flight, again the tungsten inserts for a better lift under the ball.

Review Summary: If your wanting to improve both aspects of your game, try these clubs. It was the best $175.00 I've ever spent on a sport. Bottom line; not only will the Firesole clubs improve your physical game, but they will improve confidence for your mental game as well.

Purchase: I am 17 years old and I first started looking for new irons when I grew out of my youth set. I went to Carl's Golfland in Michigan. Carl's helped me out a lot when i chose to purchase the Firesole Irons, they helped me check my club speed to determine the shaft and measured me to make sure I go the right height of shaft. I purchased the irons for $400.
Pros: I personally like the Taylor Made Bubble graphite shafts that I got with the irons. After Carl's checked my golf clubhead speed they determined that I need a graphite shaft with senior flex. These clubs are extremely light and are very easy to get through the thick stuff. I also found it very easy to manage my PW, I can control both the bite and release. The irons also have the most beautiful "tink" sound ever, i have never heard anything like it.
Cons: I dont find anything at all wrong with the unit.
Quality: I have had these clubs for 2 years now and i have not had any problems at all with the durability or construction of the clubs. One time I wasn't thinking and I played a ball of a cart path and nicked my PW but it still plays wonderfully.

Review Summary: I recommend these clubs to any golfer who wants to improve there game.
