Details: Reg flex Steel Shaft

Purchase: As my swing got more consistant and my swing speed slowed down I knew I needed to step down my shaft flex. I looked to re shaft my current clubs but the cost was not worth it. I bought the RAC 0S at Dicks Sporting goods for 399.99 minus a 200.00 trade for my prior irons total price 199.99.
Pros: Ive seen some reviews stating the stock grip is horrible. Maybe it was with a prior model but the grip is great. The clus looks good but what is the best thing is how the improve your game. I can even hit a great 3 iron shot with these and not need to carry a 22 degree rescue club. The clubs are very well balanced, smooth through impact and give you good feedback. I felt like I had total control of the club and control of ball flight.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Quality: A plus all around.

Review Summary: I had been playing with a set of Macgregor Vfoil M455 in a stiff steel flex. The clubs improved my game to the next level however with the slower speed I no longer was getting the distance or feel I needed in an iron. I looked into reshafting but the cost was not worth it. I tried the new MAC TEC NVG2, TM RAC OS2, BEN HOGAN, Adams, and Callaway in the launch monitor and then demos and the TM OS2 was above and beyond my expectation. Dicks had the best deal and the most accurate trade in value for my old clubs. Ive since purchased a TM R5 driver and 19 degree rescue from TM

Details: TaylorMade rac OS2 Steel Shaft Iron Set, 3-PW, Regular flex

Purchase: I got these for my birthday a month ago, for 400 from TGW.com.
Pros: The clubs are outstanding. I regularly hit my 5-iron 185, which I would use to have to hit two clubs to get just over that. They are extremely easy to hit, with a big sweet spot. I am still adjusting to the new distances, where from 125 out I hit my 8-iron where I used to hit my 6 or 7 iron. These clubs actually provide feedback when I hit a bad shot, because my old clubs had graphite shafts and they didn't give back anything. These clubs have opened me up to TaylorMade golf clubs, and I am now looking to replenish my set with TaylorMade clubs.
Cons: The grip kind is rather slippery, and I used to have graphite and if I hit these wrong, my hands sting. I guess that is just the feedback I nver got from my old graphite clubs. The 3 and 4 irons are extremely hard to find the sweet spot, and if I do they do not travel much farther than my 5 iron, so the risk is too much for the chance of the reward.
Quality: Great

Review Summary: I reccomend these clubs to anybody wishing to improve their game.

Details: 3- PW Stock TaylorMade Stiff Flex Standard Loft and Lie

Purchase: Paid $310 on eBay to replace harder to hit blades
Pros: Was playing more of a player's club (i. e. less offset, thinner topline, smaller head) for the last 2 years after I started breaking 80 regularly, but after a recent 6 month overseas tour without touching a club, I came back and realized I needed a game improvement iron. This club is easy to square which is a big thing for me because of my backswing (think John Daly without a spine). The look of the club at address instills a feeling of knowing the ball will go in the general vacinity of the flag. Also, the look of the head as opposed to blades is a nice change. Not spermodel skinny, but girl next door voluptuous. Also regained my lost 15 yards, or one extra club. Only had these for a week and already seeing the difference. Old 7 iron - 155 yds. New 7 iron - 170 yds. Have regained my confidence on par 3's too; only missed 1 green on a apr 3 today, and that was because of a bad swing. Even that shot went straight, just a bit short.
Cons: There are a few dislikes so far too, mostly to do with the short game. My old blades were reliable around the greens and hitting punches inside 100 yds. These clubs are built with so much bounce (to keep the club from digging) that it's hard to hit down on the ball and still get it o pop up. I 'bladed' my PW a few times today and topped a 5 iron punch, one of my favorite go to shots into the wind. The only other thing I don't like is about half of my approaches have been going dead left. I assume this is due to the offset which helps to square the club, and this is not so much a negative thing as it is something I need to play for since I have a natural draw to begin with. In fact, I credit that left draw flight for the extra yds I picked up. Also, don't expect to hit soft high fades with this club. The offset hinders any subtle left to right ball flight, but I have been able to hit hard cuts with some practice. Lastly, lot of people bagged on the stock TM grips, but as long as you keep them dry, they're fine.
Quality: Like all TaylorMade products, I can see using these clubs for a long time. Excellently put together, worthy of the TM name.

Review Summary: These clubs are for anyone having trouble getting their irons to obey. Extremely easy to hit. Essential for those players with slicing tendencies or looking for a little more confidence. Not for low- to mid-handicappers who want to work the ball. And overall, a really nice club to look at at address.

Details: Beautiful stainless steel. Large cavaties on the back, slightly oversize and gererous offset. Overall great looking irons Stiff steel shafts, standard length and loft

Purchase: I bought these irons off the internet from RockBottomGolf.com. I paid $400. They retail everwhere else for $600.
Pros: The best thing about the taylor made rac irons is their forgiveness. The club faces are in the catagory of oversize irons, but I feel they are just barely over the standard size. At adress they have a thicker top line, which boosts confidence for many recretional players. Workability is still there ever for an oversize iron. I have no trouble fading and drawing the ball.
Cons: One of the things I dont like about these irons is their grips. They feel too rubberry. Another thing I dont like is the offset, this is only because my natural ball flight is a draw. For most average players this wouldnt be a problem. I just have to adjust my swing a little to fade the ball.
Quality: Taylor Made has put much effort into designing the RAC line. The construcion is great. I have not seen a better looking iron than these.

Review Summary: After playing about ten rounds with these irons I am very impressed. Players who do not like irons that are offset and a little oversize should go with the Taylor Made LT2 irons with stands for Low Trejectory. I like to hit the ball high and land soft so I went with the OS2 model. I love the very light steel shafts on these clubs. I can hit the ball far even with a nice smooth tempo swing. So far I have noticed about a ten yard gain for each iron compared to my old set.
