On 2009-06-15, 87vert rated this TaylorMade Rossa CGB Daytona 1 a 5...(8425)

Details: 35'

Purchase: Ebay, 25+ shipping
Pros: I like the feel that I get from putts. My old putter was a cheap knock off and I couldn't feel the difference between a 3ft and a 10ft putt. Now as soon as I strike the ball I know how far it is going to roll. When struck on the sweet spot the ball goes perfectly online, on a miss it this club is able to minimize how far offline it goes.
Cons: This grip is worn down on my club but that is just from it being used.
Quality: Purchased used but the club still looks good, has a few nicks on the bottom but has not effected the ball.

Review Summary: Putter looks and feels great. A++

Purchase: Bought this beauty at golfsmith for $100. Needed a new putter (my own putter for that matter). I borrowed my coach's rossie 2 dual force mallet (good putter). Wanted a blade with good bang for the buck.
Pros: I must say that I got my money's worth with this putter. Putts very true with no backspin or skidding. I prefer the nice large insert, great distance control; soft not spongy. Great weighting, better than the ping G2i, and feels just as good as the new Scotty Camerons. Grip is also very comfortable considering Taylor Made is infamous for its crappy grips.
Cons: Nothing, great putter and dirt cheap!
Quality: Top notch, no question. That's something Taylor Made has down for sure. Insert is nicely milled and the finish is the most gorgeous ever. Nice glare-reducing dark chrome. Damn the thing is pretty.

Review Summary: If you have bank, take a good look at this putter, and if you have a tight budget, then look no further. It's a Scotty Cameron with a Rossa label on it. This putter should simply be used by more people.
