Purchase: I bought the putter at an Edwin Watts in Houston, Texas (~$159.00.) The price there was comparable to any prices I saw offered on the internet. (I could have saved maybe $20--mostly in tax--if I had bought it online) Pros: I wanted to buy a putter with an alignment system and I had originally intended to buy an Odyssey 2-ball putter. I tried the 2-ball, the Monza, and several others and found the Monza to be the best fit for me. While the Odyssey 2-ball offers an interesting approach to an alignment system, the weighting and overall feel doesn't compare to the Monza. I have found that the Monza allows me to line up a putt, tilt the club back, and simply relax my wrists and allow the putter head to carry through in a pendulum-like motion. The head is heavy enough and so well balanced that it takes a special talent to hit the ball badly. Cons: Expensive and a bit awkward in the bag because of its size (although they make a smaller version, too.) Also kind of pretentious. Looks a bit too flashy. Quality: Well-built and feels great. Comes with a handy magnetic clasp head cover. Review Summary: I'd recommend this for anybody with alignment problems. I'd also suggest that anybody interested in an Odyssey 2-ball give this a try before buying. This club will improve your putting.

Purchase: I purchases this putter off of Ebay for $105 with shipping included. This is ahuge deal considering they go for $159 at Golf Galaxy. I previosley used an old Ping Pal putter that my dad handed down after he bought the two ball. The ping was a little unforgiving on mishits, and I also had trouble with alignment so I figured it was time I tried something new. Pros: So far there is nothing I dont like about the putter. It is a nice looking putter with an equally nice headcover that uses a magnet instead of velcrow. It has nice top lines that have really helped with my alignment problems. I think I had 6 one puts the first round I used it in, which is extreamly rare for me. It is also very forgiving and consistant compared to my old putter. Cons: Nothing really. The price is a little high, but in my case I find it well worth it. Quality: Like all Taylor Made products it is well consructed. It has a nice finish and seems to be put together well. Review Summary: For me personally it is the best putter out there. I could not be more happy with my purchase. It is a very forgiving putter with nice sight lines for alignment. It may be a bit pricey, but was well worth it. I your looking for a new putter you should definatly give this one a try. On 2004-04-04, WILLIUM rated this TaylorMade Rossa Monza a 5...(3279)
Purchase: I bought this amazing putter at work (a golf course) I got an incredible deal from the pro $75 Canadian (usually about $250 Canadian) Pros: The putter overall is very attractive. The colors work well together...black and red. The rossa winn grip is very soft. The alignment aid pretty much makes the putts for you. It is very easy to line up to the cup with the two red bars and white line. Cons: The grip wears down fairly easily (like most winn grips do) The putter cover takes some getting used to..But other than that this putter is AMAZING Quality: Taylor Made makes only the best products. After one season of using it almost every day, there is no sign of wear...its very hard to scratch...still looks brand new. Review Summary: This is my best purchase of golf products ever. It has increased my confidence so much on the greens. Putting is easy with this putter. After I bought mine, one of my friends got one, and another is looking into it. Purchase: I got this putter at my Pro Shop. I paid nothing for it as I had credits owing. I was in the market for a two ball putter - this one appealed to me the most. Pros: Putters are about about looks and feel. However, this putter has the added benefit of providing better than average alignment. I've tried other two ball putters and found them harder to line up than with the Rossa. The long white line on top between the two elongated red cylinders seems to promote better alignment in my view - more so than the Odyssey line. I've had great success with this putter. Cons: The grip, it is half red and half black. The red section gets dirty very easily. Putts generally have to be hit high on the ball in order to eliminate bouncing off the face. This is not a problem with short putts but can be combersome on longer putts requiring a fuller stroke. Other than this, I have few complaints. Quality: The basic construction of this putter is very good. It appears to be of high quality. The design is a touch on the funky side but you get used to it. The head cover is very good. Review Summary: Bottom line is very simple - I'm making a lot more putts with this putter - or at least it appears I am. Hey, I'd putt with a hay fork if it got the ball in the hole more often. Having said this, I think the Rossa Monza is especially good for those seeking a easier way to align putts. On 2004-02-25, billy bob rated this TaylorMade Rossa Monza a 2...(2942)
Purchase: I tried my buddie's out on the course for a round. After using it, I'm glad I just borrowed it. Pros: Well, the backweighted thing seems to be the way to go these days. Once the putter head starts, it tends to keep moving throught the ball, which is the case with this one. Big sight line is better than 2 ball at aiming. Winn grip is nice & soft. Cons: This putter doesn't communicate feel like the 2 balls, and other Rossas for that matter. Its a bit muted. The worst part was how it wants to open up. If you don't take a firm grip and keep it squared with your hands, its all over and open it goes! Quality: The other Rossa putters have a nicer finish. I think this one leave a bit to be desired. I generally really like Taylor Made's products, so I don't consider myself biased. Review Summary: Move along people. Nothing to see here. Take your money elsewhere. I had a tough time not asking my buddy what he was thinking for purchasing this wand! If he sticks with this thing, I'll clean his clock in Bingo-Bango-Bongo every time! Purchase: Tried it on demo at Golf Galaxy's indoor putting green, Roseville, MN. They were asking $149.00. I didn't purchase it after trying it out. Pros: I really liked the long white alignment line down the middle of the putter, which is framed nicely by the black putter head. Nice Winn grip. Good amount of weight to the head to keep the stroke steady. Cons: The balance of this putter did not seem natural to me. The face wants to open by itself. Seemed a little bulky in feel. Quality: Maybe their floor models had seen a lot of use, but they didn't look like new even in the store. The paint may be more prone to scuffing/ chipping than others on the market. Review Summary: Unnatural feel in the hands and the face's tendency to want to open steered me away from this putter. Would rather play a 2 Ball. Purchase: Purchased the putter at Mililani Golf Course where they advertised it as the "lowest price in Hawaii" for $125.00. My original intent was to buy the two ball putter, but the cost was just too high for me, so the purchase agent for the golf course suggested I look at the Monza putter as an alternative.
Pros: I liked the looks, and the feel of the putter as a whole. The head with the white line and the two red bars gave it a sporty look as well as helped me line up my putts. The grip felt good in my hands, and the fact that it didn't have a plastic insert even caught my son's eye. He later bought one also. The overall weight felt good, and my lag putts over long distances improved drastically. Cons: Quality: The construction of the putter is excellant, and is a quality product for the cost. Review Summary: If you even think it may help your golf game, get it! You won't regret it. On 2003-08-01, Chris G, NY rated this TaylorMade Rossa Monza a 5...(1941)
Purchase: Purchased this putter @ NYGolf in NYC. Paid 160.00 + tax. THis has got to be the best putter out there Pros: This putter is sleek looking and feeling. The weight is PERFECT. IT practically puts itself. In the store I purchased it, I putted 5 12 fott puts in a row. tried the other 2 ball butters nad the screw with your eyes. Taylor Made made a straight line to follow, draw one on your ball and it is childs play. I used the new putter the next day and out of 18 holes on 4 of them were 3 putts, 14 of the of course were 1 or 2 putts. Well my White Hot hits the garage sale this month and the Rossa gets a new home in the bag. Cons: I have no dislikes of this product. It is an eye catcher and looks different but if that is a bad quality look at a few of the other new putters out there. Quality: Construction is Perfect. Weight is perfect. I am 6 ft tall and using a 35" putter. Grip is sticky enough and wide enough for all types of grips. Review Summary: BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT, unless you are playing with me. I want the advantage. Getting the ball in the hole will be a lock if you have the KEY. THIS IS REALLY THE KEY. On 2003-07-24, Larry S rated this TaylorMade Rossa Monza a 5...(1883)
Purchase: Purchased this putter at my Club for $145.
Have used cut down Never Compromise putters for several years. I am short and use a pure pendulum stroke with fairly straight arms, so 32"-33" is about right for me. The small aim line on the Never Compromise has always been a problem for me, particularly on short breaking putts. Tried the 2 ball putters, which were just a distraction. Saw this putter in the shop the day it arrived and realized it was made as a 33" putter, a perfect size fit for me and well-balanced; tried it for 15 minutes and bought it. Pros: The long aim line is a big help when you want to be comfortable about playing just a little break and certainly helped my confidence. Yesterday made every putt I had inside 6 feet on very fast greens for a 76.
Face has a nice soft feel and encourages you to let the putter follow the ball down the line. Cons: Could have done without the bright red tubes, or at least the bright red, but they do frame the aim line; just a little bright in the hot sun. Quality: So far appears very high quality and durable. Review Summary: Excellent putter if you are omfortable with a non-traditional look; about the best I have seen for shorter shaft lengths.
