Details: Teemorph Standard Golf Tee Kit

Purchase: Teemorph is a totally Unique concept - Make your Own Golf Tees !! I came across this product purely by chance when I found a pack of Teemorph for £4.99 at my nine hole course, Hele Park, Newton Abbot. I was told it had been invented and made by a local golfer. After using up the first Teemorph kit I have now discovered that it is being marketed via the web at www.teemorph.co.uk, and the cost has now fallen - £3.99 for a standard pack and £9.99 for a bulk pack.
Pros: The idea behind Teemorph is revolutionary and at first it seems a crazy Idea to Make your own Golf Tees. The kit consists of buttons (like smarties for those of you from the UK) of a special polymer that can be moulded when heated in hot water and then shaped to form your own golf tee. Within a few minutes of experimenting I managed to create pretty good replicas of the latest types of tee on the market - traditional, castle, rip tip, a three pronged type of tee and a very flexible offset type tee. Some of the tees worked better than others. The ones that didn't simply got remoulded into a design that worked. Teemorph seems very strong and durable, it comes in a variety of bright colours and can easily be reheated and remoulded if it cracks or deforms. Theoretically the tees are therefore everlasting - that is provided you don't lose them. The kit comes with simple instructions, and a card illustrating several examples of different tees. As the polymer sticks to itself it is easy to make tees of any size.
Cons: To make reasonable quality tees that look the biz demands a bit of manual dexterity. However within a few minutes of trial and error it proved pretty easy to make any type and shape of tee. The standard pack at £3.99 will only make about ten tees but the bulk pack should make many more and seems good value. If you manage to make a high visibility tee or one that can be tethered then you may even not have to buy another golf tee again.
Quality: pretty simple - Nothing to go wrong.

It may not revolutionise the game of golf but its good fun to experiment trying to perfect your own custom golf tee - who knows you may end up inventing the next Brush tee or Rip Tips.
