Purchase: $35.00 + tax Acquired from Assistant Pro
Pros: This ball delivers. It's workable off the tee, checks up nicely when playing both bermuda or bent grass, and is exceptionally durable.
Cons: There is nothing I do not like about this ball. It is the best out there for my game.

Purchase: This is the new Pro V1, Came out after the legal hassle with Callaway over patents. Sell for $45.99 a dozen
Pros: This is an excellent golf ball. Good distance off the tee, great spin into the greens, and it seems to hold up slightly better than last years ProV1.
Cons: ONly bad thing is the price, but most of the top tour balls at pretty much in the same price range.
Quality: Quality seems very good so far.

Review Summary: This new 2009 ProV1 is every bit as good as the oder models. Anyone worried about the new ball not being up to par, can stop worrying and go buy a box. I don't see any change in terms of distance compared to the older balls. They seem to hold up a bit better, but not a big change. Spin seems to be about the same. Overall, the new 2009 ProV1 is an excellent replacement to the old ball.
