Purchase: purchased at target for about $25
Pros: distance off the tee was pretty decent. the ball also has good roll down the fairways.
Cons: virtually impossible to get this ball to stop on the green.
Quality: the ball is pretty durable and its possible to play a full round with the same ball.

Review Summary: this ball plays well off the tee and with long iron and wood shots as far as distance goes. chipping and putting feel pretty good as well, but youll have to run the ball up to the hole when chipping. i did not like this ball at all for approach shots because there is virtually no spin and it rolls through the green every time if you go for the pin. if you try to run the ball up to the pin, this ball will play well for you.

Purchase: I first bought a box of Titleist NXT Distance balls in october 2002 in my local pro shop. They cost me EUR 10 for a box of 3. I bought them because i had heard they were a good yet relatively inexpensive ball.
Pros: This ball give long distance yet i found they are soft around the greens and create a lot of spin to stop the ball. The cover is hard so if you hit a few trees they are no worse off.
Cons: the cover is a little too hard
Quality: it is an excellent quality ball. It has a surlyn cover and has a good core.

Review Summary: i always play with this ball for the quality and value for money

Purchase: Purchased at pro shop for $24.95.
Pros: This ball is long! I started using the NXT with my new Taylormade R580 driver and now I am King Kong off the tee! I have a low swing speed, yet have consistently hit drives in excess of 265 yards, which for me is about 15 yards longer than my best drives in the past. I have a high ball flight with both my driver and irons; I don’t need a ball a high spinning ball. I tried the Strata during a round, prior to using the NXT, and spun the ball off the green on three holes. The ball does tend to "spring" of the putter, which takes some time to get used to. The ball has a nice feel, I have heard some say the NXT feels hard, I dont agree.
Cons: Considering I am a 15 handicap and may not be able to discern all the subtle differences in balls, I have no complaints.
Quality: First rate in appearance and construction, what you would expect from Titleist. I have played more than one round with same ball, hard to cut, but can scuff if hit thin.

Review Summary: Great mid-priced ball for anyone with a high ball flight looking for distance.

Purchase: Purchased a dozen at Golfsmith for under $25
Pros: NXT Distance compares to Pro VI for ball flight and distance at half the price.
Cons: Doesn't have the same spin rate off of irons as the elite balls but if you have a high ball flight it doesn't matter
Quality: NXT Distance has alittle harder feel than the Pro VI.

Review Summary: It's a poor mans Pro VI but more than adequate for a 15 handicapper. At $2 a ball you won't have to spend 20 minutes looking for it if it goes in the woods.

Purchase: Won in golf scramble.
Pros: I can't really find anything extremely likable. The distance gained, if any, was not noticable.
Cons: Does not have good feel at all around the green.
Quality: Everyting seemed fine in the construction and durability.

Review Summary: Too many other balls in the same price range with better feel and distance combined. Would not buy.
