Titleist NXT EXTREME Golf Balls - Reviews

Details: Standard box of 12 balls

Purchase: I got a dozen to test them along with the new NXT Tour. I've played the older version, so I wanted to see how this new ball performs.
Pros: This new ball is a new version of the older Nxt ball. Not much different in my opinion. Prety good ball, plenty of distance. The ball holds up pretty well. I'd say it compares equally with most other balls in the $20 to $25 range.
Cons: My only real complaint is the lack of spin on approach shots into the green. Not enough holding power for anything other than soft greens. For me, I get just as much if not more distance with a 3 piece tour quality ball. With a swing speed of 107, I get more distance out of the better 3 piece tour balls, than I do with the cheaper 2 piece balls.
Quality: Nothing fancy, your plain old two piece ball. Quality is good

Review Summary: Is you like to older Nxt ball, I'm sure you'll like this new model. Good distance, good durability, just not much spin. If you fight a slice or hook, this ball might be worth trying, as it doesn't spin too much. If you're looking for good spin around the greens, go with a Tour quality 3 piece ball.
