Titleist Pro V1x 2004 Golf Balls - Reviews

Purchase: I found one of these on the last holes of my previous round. I have played pro v's for quite a while but I have always wanted to try x.
Pros: This ball is without a doubt longer than any other I have tried. It is about 8 yards longer than the Ben hogan Hawk. I never tried this ball because titleist scared me away with their "Optimum for high speed high spin players". It almost spins as good as the pro v also. It is a little firmer which I prefer. This is a very well rounded ball. This is what I will be playing from now on.
Cons: I dont like how titleist makes is sound like these balls arent hittable. Keep in mind though if you swing slow, these will not be for you. Just for reference, I hit my drives about 270 and my 7 iron 160.
Quality: I give it about a 7. It held up well all around, but the cover does lose its tackiness and spin after a while.

Review Summary: This will be my ball for next high school season. Give it a try, you may never know until you do.
