Purchase: I purchased 3 dozen of these in an auction on EBay. I paid $130 for them. I was inspired to make this purchase after a friend gave me one to try.
Pros: What can I write about this golf ball, that hasn't already been written. I have tried many other "premium" golf balls and nothing so clearly stands head and shoulders above the rest like the Pro V1x does. This golf ball rockets off the driver head like nothing I have ever seen before in my life. Once the ball is in flight, it takes on a life of its own. When most other balls have peaked in its trajectory, the Pro V1x is still boring through the air further and higher AND STRAIGHT. It reaches phenomenal heights and distances. The slow descent downwards is an absolute joy to behold as it "sticks the green" on approach shots. This ball is truly a delight to hit. My enjoyment of the game has grown immensely since I started using the Pro V1x.
Cons: It has made my time away from the golf course that much more unbearable.
Quality: The ball cover is very durable. The longest I played with the same ball was a little over a round and it began to show signs of wear and tear. Mostly scuff marks but none that had penetrated the outer layer. The performance of the ball was not affected significantly. Overall I was really impressed with it's durability.

Review Summary: The aspect of golf that I enjoy the most is "ball striking". Whether with irons or woods; there is nothing more enjoyable than a well struck ball honing in on your target. If you are a good ball striker and choose to use the Pro V1x, be prepared to be awe struck again and again by its performance. The trajectory of this ball is truly majestic and a sight to behold. What's also amazing is how well this ball will "stick the green" on approach shots. In summary, hitting the Pro V1x can become something of an addiction. The performance of this ball will give you an adrenaline rush, leave you awe struck but most importantly will add a dimension of "fun" to your game like nothing else will.
