Details: 905S, 9.5*,YS-6+ stiff

Purchase: Tried this at a demo day at Peutz golf.
Pros: THis is my favorite driver to date. It simply looks the best at address. It's not too big and is more capable of controlling the drive than 460CC heads. THe sound is sweet - not harsh. I strongly suggest the YS-6 or 7 or 8 shaft! The combo is perfect! I'd like to buy one with a YS-7 X-stiff. Because it felt so natural in my hands, I could hit longer and more consistent that any other club. It's not the longest, but not far behind.
Cons: The price. It makes the R7 very tempting. I am a litttle nervous about the durability of the face since a hairline stress line developed on my 983E. One day, I heard a strange 'pop' sound after a drive...and my driver was toast. Nike's drivers seem to be more durable.
Quality: Titleist is quality, but other companies are just as good these days. Styling is not flashy but gets the job done.

Review Summary: Among a short list of capable drivers lately, the 905S is my choice...if it wasn't so damn expensive! I would pay $250 if it had the YS-7 XS shaft. It makes the r7 425 very affordable. Both are excellent choices but the R7 has a .350 tip - strange. I prefer .335 tip.
