Purchase: Paid $107 on ebay. I was looking for a new driver since I did not have a driver I was comfortable with for many years. Finally took the jump to titanium and oversize technology. Pros: The head is not the size of a VW Beetle. I think the J-VS head is close to 316 cc. Perfect size and it is not obtrusive and has plenty of forgiveness. Appearance is not flashy and the color of the head works well. Demoed the 983K but could not justify $400. Cons: Nothing. Quality: As with all Titleist products, first rate. Have played their irons for years. Review Summary: The 975J-VS is a great driver and many can be found out there. Does everything I want it too. Took me a few rounds to get used to it but now I am not afraid to use a driver.

Purchase: i saw it in edwin watts magazine and i decided to buy it. i payed 300. Pros: i normally hit a slice, and the j-vs i made to hit a draw. it really straightened me out. i've easily added 25 yards to my drives! Cons: the head size, i wish it was as big as my 983k. thats why i upgraded. Quality: just like all titleist products....perfect Review Summary: it's a great club for anyone who wants to hit long, straight drives, but if you want forgiveness too, get the 983k. Purchase: Paid $239 at a local pro shop. Tried all the brand names, ERC II, Launcher, Adams 363R, Ping TSi Tec, Ping Si3, Wilson Deep Red and Cobra 350. Purchased the 975J-VS since offered the best feel and consistency. Plus, with the 975J-VS, I was able to hit the back fence of the driving range for the first time...250 yards out. Pros: Drives are now straight or slight fade and longer by 25-30 yards. The 975J-VS gave me the confidence to hit driver on the par 4's and par 5's (use to hit 3 wood off the tee). Forgiveness, accuracy, feel and length are top notch. Cons: Driver came with the Titleist Ultralight 60 regular flex shaft. Shaft has higher torque than the other shafts that Titleist offers. I tend to pull or hook my drives when I get too aggressive. Smooth, easy swing results in long and straight drives. Quality: Construction and quality are second to none. Review Summary: Best driver I've ever tried. I highly recommended the 975J-VS to all golfers even high handicappers. On 2003-05-21, Arkie111 rated this Titleist 975J-VS a 4...(1372)
Purchase: Ebay for $150. I like the feel of this driver. I tried a demo at the pro shop Pros: This driver with the 4565 shaft is excellant. It's light and easy yo swing. The slightly closed face makes it even better fot this duffer. Cons: There is not anything I dislike. Quality: The 975J-vs is well made. Review Summary: Overall this is an excellant driver for my game.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
