Purchase: Bought this on ebay for $289 used. 9.5 out of 10 rating, still had original stickers on the sole of the club and came with the Headcover.
Pros: Just about everything. I was looking for a driver which would give me the best bits from the 975D, but add some length. This did - and more. I've tried the Taylormade r7, 580XD, Cleveland Launcher, GBII and a couple of other drivers and none can compare with the 983k for me. I had bought the r7 but brought it back - poor shaft and grip in the standard club. 983k was better for me because: The strike feels fantastic, the length off the tee is tremendous, the ball flight is penetrating, the workability is amazing. The shaft is tremendous and produces a really penetrating flight where the ball hangs in the air. The look at address is very appealing and inspires confidence. Classic traditional shape. Very forgiving club on off-centre hits and is much easier to square at impact than some of the larger headed clubs.
Cons: Nothing. I've never hit a better driver. Thought I'd struggle to find a club which could compete with the 975d for feel and workability, but this does.
Quality: Some minor scratches on the face from impact. Other than this, top quality. Excellent shaft (especially when compared with the standard shafts in the r7 and GBII). Good quality grib and headcover. Nice paintwork.

Review Summary: The best driver I've ever hit. I hit more fairways now and have added distance since using this club.
