On 2004-02-24, golferinparadise rated this Titleist 983K 9.5* w/ Fujikura Speeder Stiff Shaft a 5...(2931)

Purchase: I bought this at a golf discount shop during their annual sale and got it for $270 used. Condition is 9.5 out of 10. I had tried the 983K 9.5* with the Grafalloy Prolite 35 Stiff shaft and hit this consistently straighter. I really wasn't that pleased with my R510 Taylor Made with a Grafalloy Blue Stiff shaft.
Pros: This club is very easy for me to hit long and straight. It has added conservatively 20 yards over the Taylor Made and is much straighter. The sound and feel are quite pleasing.
Cons: So far, so good.
Quality: Top notch, I probably owned every brand.

Review Summary: This club is fun to hit, I have added some distance lost to back surgeries and am hitting many more fairways which makes approach shots shoter and easier. Give this combination serious consideration.
