Purchase: Purchased new on Ebay with open bidding. Paid $285.00
Pros: Looks, feel when hitting the ball, and the sound of the ball at impact. Ball carry for me averages 230-240 and that is not bad for a 61 year old duffer. The absolute one thing I like best is the accuracy and consistancy of the ball flight. With the Aldila NV 65R shaft, this is a wonderful golf club.
Cons: This club is not as forgiving as some of the other larger faced golf clubs, but the consistancy of ball flight more than makes up for this negative. I would rather have shorter distance and be in the fairway that longer distance and be in the woods.
Quality: 9.5* driver with Titanium head and Aldila NV 65R graphite shaft. Grip is standard from Titleist.

Review Summary: I presently carry a 10 handycap. I had previous owned two of the top drivers being sold and had trouble controlling ball direction. After using a demo of the Titleist 983K several times, I ended up purchasing one and selling my other drivers. After one full season, I am very satisfied. Because of this clubs smaller sweet spot, I would not recommend it for anyone with a high handycap.
