Details: Stiff steel True Temper shaft, 15* 3 wood, factory Titleist partial cord grip.
Purchase: Bought from 2nd Swing Golf in Minneapolis for $50. I was looking for a decent old (cheap) fairway wood. I went through Adams Tight Lies and an RPM fairway, Bridgestone EZ, Tour Edge QL fairway (a great club for someone who fights the rights, I fight the lefts). I finally decided maybe I'd try a Titleist even though I'm not a 5 handicap. Pros: This club is like an instructor and golf club together. I've never felt a club of any kind so responsive. The heavier steel shaft compared to graphite is a steadying feeling and the face while not huge, is very hot. I'm planing on investing a few more dollars on the 19* as well having been so impressed. This is the first Titleist club I've ever owned, and I can't imaging being without it now. It has added the second option off the tee I needed, and a legitimate weapon worthy of use on second shot par 5's. A well built club. Cons: They don't make them anymore. Quality: It's a bit of a tank. It doesn't look bad, and I'm now learning what Titleist quality really is. I'm very pleased. Review Summary: Great club. I'm very pleased with this buy. Wish I would have done so a few years ago.

Details: True Temper regular steel shaft, 15 degree, Titleist half cord grip.
Purchase: Di Marco golf, I think it was previously a demo, so I picked it up for $150 2 years ago. My friend's dad owns the store so I got a 10% discount as well. Pros: This club has a clean, professional look at address. As all Titleist clubs, no gimmicks here, just the straight goods. I really like this club off the tee. I find it extremely reliable on tight par 4s that require a tee shot in the fairway. I get great carry out of the club. Great trajectory, not too high for a fairway wood. Not bad off the deck, a low profile is good for getting the ball in the air.
I also carry a 983K driver and the two clubs compliment eachother well, with similar weighting, appearance and feel. I love the consistency these clubs offer. Cons: Not much to dislike here, this club has served me well and is the most reliable club in my bag.
The small profile may be harder to hit for higher handicap players. Quality: Very high quality, as with all Titleist gear, it's lifetime is longer than most.
Great grip, attractive headcover, quality Titleist club. Review Summary: Great club, highly recommended! Enjoy hitting more fairways.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
