Purchase: I bought this Iron for 59.99 at a golf shop in Roseville, Michigan. THe reason I bought this was because I couldn't hit my Irons. Pros: The club isn't too heavy, you feel like you have a lot of control in your swings. I hit this club over 250 yards before and most of my drives are not even that long. As soon as i started using this club my game increased by 5 strokes. Cons: It is a little long for me, but i just choke up and swing away. It is very seldom when I swing this club bad, but when I do it makes some mean divots. Quality: The shaft is long, its not too heavy, I know grips an be replaced, but the grip I have is soothing to my fingers whenever I grab it. It has a lot of good qualities. Review Summary: The Titleist 822SO is the Iron you need for good golf

Purchase: I have just finished trying out just about every set of irons on the market. The Callaway X14s, Big Berthas, Olimars, Cobra SS, Hogans Apex Edges. I found the 822OS to be the best club for me. It was time to upgrade....old Hogan Radials were at least 15 years old! And the best deal was to order them out of state, as shipping is a whole lot less than California sales tax!! $650 out of New York. Pros: Hey, I am a boogie golfer, shoot in the low 90s.....high 80s on a good day. These clubs are ez to hit....with great distance. I was even using the 3 iron will no problems! I never even kept my Hogan 3 in the bag! Cons: The only thing bad about getting the latest club is that you have to pay full boat! Quality: All of the main brands are first class...thats why we pay the big bucks! Review Summary: Read the reviews...then demo them all...and get what works for you! Stay with mainstream brands, thier reputation is at risk!....they want your business! On 2002-05-22, John Breeden rated this Titleist 822OS a 5...(122)
Purchase: I went to a large golf shop (Fiddler's Green) to try out a number of iron sets. I was expecting to buy Ping i3 O-size when I went in. I tested the Pings, Taylor Made 360s, Cleveland TA-7s, Wilson Deep Reds and the Titleists. I was looking for accuracy and the Titleists easily won out. I paid $649 for the set. Pros: These guys are accurate! I'm hitting irons straighter than I have ever before (and I've been playing for 30+ years). Great feel, very forgiving. I can't think of the last time that I really mis-hit badly. Cons: I lost a few yards in distance, but I think it's mainly because I'm swinging easier. I'll take accuracy over distance any day. Quality: Solid construction. Really handsome clubs. Looks great and feels great. Review Summary: I'd recommend these to anyone in the mid to high handicap range who is looking to improve their accuracy. My overall game confidence has improved since I bought these.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
