Details: standart size and length (3-pw set)
custom shaft from titleist fitting works project x 6.0
Purchase: I have purchased these clubs threw my titleist golf representor in my country. i got them from the fitting works center in england because the shafts are project 6.0 -rear.
the titleist rep in my country got them for me for a little less then the catalog price. he also got me fittingworks inspection certificates that approve the clubs are authentic and stamped checked! i paid $900.
Pros: i have used before the 735cm's and i can feel the difference between them to my new AP2's
in rough grass its easier to get the ball out and its a little more forgiving.the clubs lunch the ball mid-high and extra 15yds.
the sound is great.
Cons: lets not forget its still a players 5* workability club that means that it doesnt eliminate miss hits .... its all about the players strike to the ball now and then when ur not consistent it helps but if u really dont know how to strike the ball well and work it stick to the AP1.
Quality: well built.
very clean and classic well known titleist lines.
its worth every dime.
shaft is great.
grips by golfpride.
the best u can ever get!
Review Summary: IF U R A GROWNUP PERSON AND WANT MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE and SERIOUS GOLFER. GET TITLEIST.
IF UR STILL A KID THAT LIKES TO PLAY WITH SCREWS GET TAYLORMADE.
MY OPINION TO ALL PEOPLE UNDER 50 THAT KNOW HOW TO PLAY.
U DO NOT NEED SCREWS IF U CAN FIX IT UR SELF IT JUST DAMAGES UR SWING AND MAKES UR BODY THINK THAT A IN TO OUT SWING IS PERFECT.

Details: The set was complete with 3 iron to PW and had project x shafts with stiff flex and Golf Pride grips. T
Purchase: I tried these clubs at Golfsmith in Pleasanton, CA. The have an excellent brand new facility while taking a lesson with the Golf Tec guy on site. I liked them so much I played a round with a set at the San Ramon Golf club. These irons have a great feel. They offer a lot of forgiveness and some added distance. I consistently gained about 5 yards in distance on the mid and short range clubs. I liked the mid and short irons the best. The long irons were inconsistent for me. I only played one day. Hitting about 150 balls on the range and then I played 18 holes and hit another 75 balls on the range. I liked the look at address and the feel in my swing but for some reason the long irons gave me trouble with distance and a fade on some shots. My natural swing produces a late draw.
Pros: The look and feel of these clubs is real nice. The balance was also very good. I really felt good swinging these clubs and am planning to play another round before making my final decision on my purchase.
Cons: I have been looking at the Callaway x22 irons with rifle shafts and in comparing them to the Titleist AP2 I would say they are close but so far I do not think the AP2 offers as much forgiveness in miss hit shots which appear to show up more in the longer irons.
Quality: Titleist makes great epuipment and the AP2 irons are no exception.
Review Summary: The verdict is still out. I am going to play them again and see how it goes. I may decide to go with a set that has 6 iron to SW and then use my Calloway H4 and H3 to make up the difference. The bottom line is I like the look and feel of the clubs and that is a big factor.
