Purchase: I bought this putter in Charlotte NC at 2nd Swing for 218 bucks. I had just seen it for 250 so it was a trigger reaction to buy it.
Pros: I love everything about this putter. Its easy to setup easy to hit easy to judge distance. Sometimes I feel like I am cheating!
Cons: Putting from the fringe is difficult becase the grass catches the wholes in the center of the putter.
Quality: great quality

Review Summary: I would tell anyone to buy this club. Except for those that play with me!

Purchase: This putter was given to me by my wife as a anniversary gift. I believe she payed $220 for it at GolfSmith. My wife plays golf also, so she understands the price tags that come with the sport. For all of you whose mates are opposed to the lifestyle, I recommend you lose the receipt and sneak this one in the back door. In any case I had tried this putter out on many an occasion in my wife’s presence. I of course made feeble attempts to indicate my adoration, without my hints seeming too insultingly obvious. I suspect I never pull that trick off completely.
Pros: I cannot say enough about this putter’s ability to indicate alignment with the intended target line. When you stand over the Futura if it looks like it’s lined up, it is! The confidence you get in having such a high degree of trust in a putters alignment can't be overstated. I love this "flat stick"!! Even though in truth, the only thing close to being flat on it is the face. So whats not to like here???
Cons: Well, as noted earlier Scotty Cameron putters are exceedingly pricey to say the least. (This one is worth the money however, trust me.) Interestingly enough GolfSmith has a knock off of this very club which is amazingly accurate as well and, I might add, at just a fraction of the cost. There is something to be said for the Titleist name brand however... In any case, one thing I might change about the putter is its overall weight. I think clearly this club was designed for greens that roll in excess of eleven on the stimp meter, obviously with the tour pros in mind. For we weekend warriors who are more accustomed to a 9-10 speed roll, or maybe even less, this putter needs a little more .... well "junk in the trunk." But alas, there exists a remedy, or what I like to call the “J Lo Mod.” A nicely crafted after market add-on increases the overall weight and can also add visual line indicators to the center of the putter head. Check 'em out on E-Bay with a "Futura weight" search. Also, I'm not too crazy about the red grip or the silver head cover. OK, I'm a blade swinging conservative!! Which begs the question how could I consider adopting such a revolutionary club design? Especially when I imagined the comments it would invoke from my fellow old school partners. Well, hit a few puts with it and you just may become a "bleeding liberal" yourself.
Quality: But enough about politics, back to the matter at hand. This putter represents first rate craftsmanship. With a lightweight double milled steel face, the putter’s weight resides primarily in the center spine and heavy steel rear end. Like everything Scotty puts his name on, this putter says "I’m top shelf baby." Quality construction and materials are par for the course with this member of the Titleist line up.

Review Summary: "What did he just say?" you ask. All in all, this putter is the real deal. Add a little weight for slower greens and the results will be fewer putts per round, period! I consider myself a decent putter, and my average putts per round are down 1.8 since I made room for its large head in my Titleist staff bag. Initial comments from your pals may boarder on the insulting, but their jeers will turn to tight lipped "nice rolls" by mid round. It’s amazing what sinking a couple 8-10 footers will do to stifle that smack talker in your foursome.

Purchase: $450 Canadian, local golf shop
Pros: The head on this putter is so big even if you hit the ball off centre you will not skip the ball, you will make solid contact. The lining up device in the middle of the back of the club head makes it easier to hit the ball square and where you intended to.
Cons: If you ever lose the headcover, it is very hard to replace.
Quality: The quality of the unit is pristine.

Review Summary: This is a great alternative putter for anyone who has little success with other putters up to now.

Purchase: I acquired my Futura Putter from the Pro Shop at Torrey Pines. I paid $ 249.00 plus Ca. sales tax. I got the putter because I work on golf clubs as a hobby and I was very interested in the technology of this putter, especially the weighting system. I normally use a 34 inch putter but I wanted one so bad that I bought the 35 because that was the only one they had, after a few rounds I felt the putter was just too long. I blew off the grip and cut one inch off the butt end. The putter worked great after that. The only thing that worries me is that the semi circle weight at the rear of the head has 35 stamped on it and at first I thought I may have screwed up the weighting. It was not many rounds later that i realized I liked the putter much better as a 34 inch model. The putter puts a pure roll on the putter and if you can read the break you have an excellent chance of making the putt.

Purchase: I purchased the putter from a local golf shop in Syracuse, NY for $229.00 plus tax. the reason I bought it because I thought it was an awsome looking putter and wanted to try it out.
Pros: The driver was absolutley awsome from looks to performance. it really does help in lining up putts better than anything I have ever tried and the feel was like no other putter I have ever used. I have tried over 20 different putters including callaway, ping, odessey, and carbite. I have even tried out a few other models by scotty cameron but none come close to this one. I only bought the putter to try out and then sell on ebay as it was out of my price range to keep for good but I can't wait until I have the money to buy another
Cons: there was nothing i didn't like about it
Quality: as with all the putters put out by scotty cameron it was top notch in every way

Review Summary: if your looking for a putter that looks, feels awsome and really helps in sinking more puts than I really recomend this putter. though the price is a bit much for most recreational golfers

Purchase: I purchased the putter at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, CA. The amount I paid is $250.
Pros: The Futura is the best balanced putter I have ever used. Another good point about the putter is its lively hit. It takes far less effort to get the ball to the hole with the Futura than with any other putter, and I've tried all the top brand names.
Cons: When you set the putter on the green, it rotates slightly to the right for right handed players. It would help with lining up a putt if the head of the putter were to sit square, or in line with the putt. This is no minor point. I had to determine that the rotation wouldn't be a problem for me before I bought the putter. Secondly, the price is very steep. However, if the putter helps me to sink more putts then it is worth the price.
Quality: First rate. I would give it five stars on construction and materials.

Review Summary: I have only had the putter a short time, but it is very easy to use. The unusual design of the putter head wasn't a problem; it actually helped me to keep the head flowing on line. The three holes are an advantage in lining the putt correctly. I also found that the lively hit of the head helped to build confidence in the distance of the stroke.

Purchase: i got it at golfsmith because it was the best putter i tried out,i made 10 putts in a row from 15 ft. away and i paid $310.98, it also had a comfortable grip.
Pros: It was a comfortable grip, it was smooth and it had a good sound when i hit the ball. It lined up with the ball perfectly because of the three circles on the head of the putter.
Cons: nothing I like everything about it
Quality: the construction is great how the head is made it looks really good. The quality of the unit is 300 dollars.

Review Summary: My thoughta are a perfect ten and it is a great putter to use and have for its own reasons. This is the best putter made.

Purchase: I purchased the club at Golf Galaxy at Eastgate in Cincinnati, Ohio and paid $219 for it.
Pros: I loved the light weight and balance of the putter. It produced a smooth stroke and the ball came off the head very nicely.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: The putter is a milled aluminum.

Review Summary: Excellent quality.

Purchase: I purchased my Futura putter from Hiro's Golf Shop in San Jose, Ca. It is the best putter around for less than $250.
Pros: The feel and balance are amazing. I'm so confident with my putts this days.
Cons: I have no problems with this putter.
Quality: Very high end quality and it is well made.

Review Summary: Ever since I started using the Futura putter, my outlook in putting has change a lot. I love to putt now, I have a lot of confidence in my putting and I will never change putters again. My scores are in the low 80's and mid 70's since I started putting with the futura putter.

Purchase: I haven't changed putters for over 25 years, but the design and feel of the new Scotty Cameron Futura putter made me want to switch. This is a game changer.
Pros: Th look, feel, and results form this putter are terrific.
Cons: The only thing not to like about this putter is the price. The thing is that for the results it is giving me, it is worth every penny.

Purchase: I acquired this on ebay for $140. I acquired it becuase it looked like a great deal.
Pros: I love the feel of this putter when the ball comes off the face.
Cons: I dont like having to always look for the divot tool that goes on the headcover. lol
Quality: It is a rugged and precious putter and works great.

Review Summary: Great Putter. You should buy it

Purchase: I got this putter at the local golf store with gift certificates I got for my birthday. I paid a discounted $220. That is the best price I've seen anywhere.
Pros: This thing is incredibly balance. It seems to swing back on its own almost on a perfect line. And you almost have to try to decelerate during your through swing. It aligns like a dream. I simple pick an intermediate target from behind the ball and set the putter on a line from it to the ball to the Intermediate target. All you have to do is get your speed right and read the green right. The swing takes care of itself.
Cons: The price is a little much but worth it. Also I've had to be a bit slower on short put because it rolls the ball so purely that it is easy to bang it off the high side of a short breaking put and lip it out. But that is minor compared to how many times I sink longer puts of 15-20 feet.
Quality: Absolutely top quailty.

Review Summary: This thing is for real. It is the best putter I've tried. With it and alot of hard work on pitching and chipping, I've knocked 8 strokes off my game and about the last month. 95 to 87 and having more fun than ever. Look out 80. I love this game.

Purchase: Purchased putter through Ebay.
Pros: Solid stroke everytime, have yet to have a mishit. The ball rolls true with every putt.
Cons: The putter is a little pricey, but sometimes you have to pay a little more for a superior product.
Quality: Top marks for quality and construction.

Review Summary: I've never felt so confident standing over a putt, especially the 5-15 footers. The face can't open or shut at impact so the ball heads right where you're aiming. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Purchase: on e-bay $230.00
Pros: I love the feel in my hand, and the distance control seems perfect for me you just seem to know how much to bring the club back any put less than 12 feet is within 12 inches usally closer in the 20 foot range I am within 2 feet. I used to push puts I dont seem to any more.
Cons: I did not know you cant make the club any shorter I am 5'3" and would normally cut the club to 31" I like to be right over the ball but now it seems I am stuck. I understand the weight on the bottom of the club is based on the shaft lenght and as of now they only make a 34&35 shaft.
Quality: very well made solid putter

Review Summary: this putter could be an 11 out of 10 but because of not being able to cut the shaft it makes it a 9 out of 10

On 2003-07-24, Medel Crisostomo rated this Titleist Scotty Cameron Futura a 4...(1882)

Purchase: On loan from a friend.
Pros: I think the high MOI technology has merit. It certainly gets the ball moving fast off the face of the putter. The analogy I can think of is when, as a kid, I'd stand on a swing seat and generate speed by putting my weight down towards the rear of the seat. The concept of moving the mass of the putter back and away from the face works well. It wasn't as heavy as I initially thought, and the 3 holes are a good alignment tool. Looks are very high-tech, but polished, not for the traditionalist, surely.
Cons: It will take time to get used to the high-MOI concept of putting, especially if you're used to blades, as I am. On setup, I get distracted by the fact that more than 75% of the putterhead is so far away from the club shaft. Also, if you sit the putter on the ground so that the sole is flat, it seems to open up the face a bit. I feel this putter demands a certain approach, and a certain putterstroke to be effective. If you're not willing to adjust to the putter, both in address and stroke, then this is probably not for you.
Quality: Very well-made. Polished look, typical of Scotty Cameron putters. The clubhead is definitely not traditional, but for someone looking for the answer to their putting woes, a drastic leap from conventional may just be the key. Headcover's huge, as expected, and you'll want to keep it on as it will bang heads with everything else in your bag.

Review Summary: Great putter, but there's a learning curve. Another Scotty breakthrough. Clean lines, polished looks, nice finish. If you like golf techie-style, this is your putter. If not, you might want to try it anyway.
