Purchase: Have spent over $2000 on irons and woods so far this year at Golfsmith in Pasadena, California. I am still using my old 'no-name' putter which I've had for some thirty years while I searched for that 'magic-putter'. Today, I went to Golfsmith and again tried out most of the putters that were available. The last putter I tried was an odd looking putter that looked to bulky and heavy for my liking. To my surprise, I believe I found that 'magic putter' that I had been looking for. I did not purchase the putter today but believe that the Futura is definitely in my future.
Pros: I like the Futura putter because it is not too heavy and though it looks bulky, it is not when you are over it to make a putt. I also like the putter because it is so perfectly balanced that my putting stroke was effortless and so smooth. I found the design of the putter to be unmatched when it came to aligning putts. The thing that impressed me most about the putter was that I made about 90% of the putts I tried. I take pride in my ability to putt but I'm not THAT good.
Cons: I did not like the color of the putter grip. Also, I'm sure the size of the putter head will cause a littly problem trying to get all of my clubs in my golf bag.
Quality: Being an engineer, I especially appreciate the quality of workmanship and engineering know-how in putting together this master-piece. I have tried many, many putters over the years and I believe the Futura is the 'magic putter' that we've all been looking for.

Review Summary: I have searched for over 30 years for that 'magic-putter' and believe that I have finally found it. It is the Scotty Cameron Futura. After getting past the red grip and bulky looks of the putter, I was amazed at how pleasing the putter looked behind the ball and how easy it was to align the putter. After making just about every putt I tried I truly believe that the Futura putter is the "magic-putter' we've all been looking for.

Purchase: I became aquainted with the Cameron Futura putter today while on the golf course. It was being used by another player in the foursome. I do not own one myself.
Pros: I was especially struck with the excellence of the putter's balance. It was amazingly easy to swing in a perfect arc. The balance allowd me to forget the mechanics of the putt and concentrate on the line and speed. I also liked the feel of the odd shape of the putter head. I say odd because most putters are not shaped like the Futura, although the three holes did make it easy to line up the putt.
Cons: I didn't care for the shiny color. I would have preferred a muted gray or black. Shiny objects and putting don't mix well.
Quality: Construction seemed excellent. Quality the same.

Review Summary: Extemely easy to use. Would be even nicer if it had a muted color. I have a preference for the mid sized Winn putter grip, which would have made the Futura almost perfect.

Purchase: I bought it through a retail golf store at Pan West after having waited for a period of 3 mths. It was a proven putter as demonstrated by PGA Pro. I am convinced and paid US$235.00 for it.
Pros: I like this futura putter is because Phil Mickerson and Titlelist have successfully created an art of putting equipment, which has proven in the PGA tournament. Phil level of putting has so much improved these days. He is able to hold a lot of short putts which he misses out quite alot previouly and sink in numerous long putt too. I had the same problem as him, not able to make a lot of short critical putt of 4-7ft. With this putter it helps me with my alignment, this gave me alot of confidence during my putting. The weight has pushed to the back which is important as it lowers the CG further more. This causes a better roll in the ball and the club face does not close or open easily as compared to other putter that I have experience with. Partly because it got a wider club face. I could easily save 5-8 stokes per game. So far I have already successfully had 12 short/long birdie putts within 2 months. Quite amazing result. Friends whom I have play with, all went to enquire about this new putter but apparently they got very disappointed not because of the price but because they was a shortage of stock on the market and they had to be put on the waiting list.
Cons: The waiting period is way too long for its limited stock. The price is on the steeper side too.
Quality: Design is unique in its own natural way. Built to charge for birdies or eagles than just to hold it for PAR. It is no ordinary putter. The moment you hold and swing at it, you will love it INSTANTENOUSLY. You will ask yourself why nobody had thought of it much earlier. The built is robust and free of maintenance.

Review Summary: I am sure that anyone who pick up this club will easily cut down his handicap within weeks. No matter how many good fairway drives you have or how many greens in regulation you have achieved, the ultimate answer to lowering down your score is to be able to putt better than your opponent.

Purchase: I have yet to acquire the Futura putter by Scotty Cameron--my wife would kill me because of its price. However, I have putted with it several times at the Golfsmith store in Kennesaw, Ga. and am seriously considering getting a divorce and buying one.
Pros: This putter is the most exotic looking putter I've ever had the privilige to try out. It has the best balance and ease of setup of any putter I have ever used. It's weight/balance design forces the golfer to be smooth and precise. The feel of the ball coming off the face of this putter, to quote Mike Myers on Saturday Night Live,is "like butter". Begging Mike's pardon, but Barbara Streisand's voice couldn't hold a candle to the smoothness of this putter. No other putter on the market has its feel/touch. When you strike the ball, it feels as if the ball is coming off the face as if it were a trampoline, but in slow motion with the golfer in complete control.
Cons: The only thing I don't like about the Futura is the cost ($350 at Golfsmith). My philosophy says that one shouldn't be able to buy his way to a good golf game. However, anyone who has the money to purchase this putter will automatically improve his game regardless of ability, or work/practice ethic.
Quality: This putter appears to be of high quality aluminum and well constructed. Only time will tell if it will hold up under rigourous playing conditions.

Review Summary: When I tried this putter on the practice green in the Golfsmith store, I couldn't miss anything from 20 ft. in. It was so easy to align, and the balance in the design of the putter seemed to make me putt more smoothly. I would have purchased this putter immediately upon trying it out except for three considerations: (1)My wife would be very very angry. (2) The putting green at Golfsmith was probably "fixed" so that most putts close to the hole went in, so there was no way for me to tell if the putter was as phenomenal as it seemed. (3) Price. However, I will probably purchase one in the future regardless of price.

Purchase: I purchased from Golfdom Golf in King of Prussia, PA. Needed a putter to replace stollen Rossa Putter. $280
Pros: Very easy to address the correct line for the target you are aiming for. Solid feel on contact. Swing plane is easy to keep online.
Cons: Design is very different.
Quality: Top quality and construction.

Review Summary: I like this putter much better that my Rossa I would recommend this dynamic putter to anyone who asks or are ready to by a new putter. The Scotty Cameron line has put severe pressure on those who are competing for top putter prize. I cannot imagine any other putter in my bag!

Purchase: Purchased from pro shop, $230.00.
Pros: Although really ugly..potato masher look alike, if you line it up it goes exactly where you aim. Very little torque in the backswing. Very easy to use.
Cons: It is pretty ugly to look at and with the huge head cover on takes up a lot of room in the bag
Quality: Excellent

Review Summary: A real confidence building putter.
