Details: 21* steel TTDG S300, 19* Aldila NV Stiff

Purchase: Got the 21* for Christmas '06. Played it year round. Solid off tee, but too tough to hit off ground. After changing irons, traded in the 21* for a 19* with a graphite shaft looking for a different yardage. Really struggled hitting the 19* well, most likely due to the shaft (in my opinion). Impact felt weak and the ball usually floated-low down the right side w/ a hook that would roll out 10-15 yards short of where I intended the ball to carry. Nonetheless, the 585 is a very tough club to hit for mid-handicappers and above. When pured there is nothing better, but the sweet spot is quite small. Recently, switched to an Adams IDEA Pro 18* w/ NVS Proto X-stiff shaft. Much easier to play for me. hope this helps, ya'll.

Quality: Quality is impeccable. Very demandin club for moderately skilled players.

Review Summary: If you are a solid ball striker and looking for a great club that you can shape any way on command, go for this club. If not, find a more forgiving club that will treat you and your scorecard better each round.
