Purchase: I bought this club off of EBAY after reading Golf gear reviews on fairway woods and how they replace your long irons. I bought this particular club to match the set of irons that I currently own. For the price I couldn't pass up this deal under $40.00.
Pros: The 845 Stripe has an appealing look upon approach. The club has an ultra-forgiving oversized head that allows for mis-hits. This club is very easy to hit with little effort getting the ball in the air quickly for a soft landing on the greens. The deeper face for tight lies lets you hit out the rough with out compromising distance. I have also noticed that I can work the ball alot better then with my long irons.
Cons: I really wouldn't call it a dislike, just a different preference with the grip. The only dislike that I really have is that I didn't buy the 3 and 5 wood at the same time. Even if I have to buy them at a higher price they will be in my bag by the end of the month.
Quality: The construction of the club seems to be well built. I can honestly say that, because I put clubs through the ringer at times. The stiff shaft with ultra light graphite seems to be great for my club head speed. The factory grip is rubber made by Crossline Lamkin with the Tommy Armour logo. The head is made of Maraging steel with 24 degrees of loft. It also came with a high quality matching 845 Stripe head cover.

Review Summary: To sum all this up in a few words I will say that Tommy Armour stands up to the motto. "A forgiving club for an unforgiving game."
