Purchase: I bought a set of Tommy Armour Irons so I figured I'd try the 5 Wood. I bought it on eBay in August '03. I believe the total deal was under $40.
Pros: I like the "look" and it hits very well off the tee--but I'm an 80's shooter and shouldn't be hitting a 5 Wood off the tee!
Cons: The club head is just too big for a 5 wood and I never was able to consistantly hit it off the fairway. I can crush other fairway clubs...so I don't think it's me.
Quality: It seems to be put together just fine.

Review Summary: Unless your ok with hitting large-headed clubs off the fairway, or need something to pop 210 yards (up in the air) and down the fairway---stay clear of the Royal Scot.
