Purchase: I was given these clubs by a pro/friend, who was given these clubs to test. He hit them on the driving range only.
Pros: Aside from the classic look, these clubs have an excellent waiting, at least for my game. I'm a 7 handicap and previously played Wilson FatShafts. I find that the Tommy Armour FS sticks are very slightly shorter than the FatShafts, (5 yards approx.) however, the ball is much easier to work and the feel is far superior with the Tommy Armours. I find that I'm using my lob wedge much less, now that I'm hitting greens more greens from all distances.
Cons: My son wants to hit my sticks, even though I just bought him new Taylor Made RAC's at $800.
Quality: Superb quality. These irons are look and feel great.

Review Summary: I would think that these clubs would be great for players of all levels. The gradual offset helps to eliminate fades with the longer irons. I've played all the leading brands and frankly, I'm confused at why the Tommy Armour FS irons are so inexpensive. If you can get past the myth that more expensive is better, then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you try these.
