Purchase: I got purchased these clubs from the good people at Rockbottom Golf via Ebay. I paid US $149.99. A bargin, because if I had of bought them in Sydney, Australia (where I am from), I would be paying 3 times the cost I had paid from them!!!
Pros: First time I tried these clubs was at the range, and they are very forgiving...especially with off-centred shots! When they say "Ultra Game Improvement" they really do mean "Ultra Game Improvement"!!
Cons: I've only used these clubs a couple of times, but at the moment there is nothing I don't like about these clubs.
Quality: Very good quality, good looking clubs. Review Summary: What can I say..."Ultra Game Improvement". These clubs are a cheaper alternative to the 845u Silverback clubs... They are practically the same clubs, except for the appearance!! Highly recommended, especially when you get a good buy from Rockbottom Golf!!

Purchase: I purchased these irons from ebay and they were new, still in the packaging, for $180 plus shipping. I decided to buy Tommy Armour 845's because a friend had a set and was very happy with them. He had a chance to get new irons, any brand, and decided to keep his Silverscots. I'm a high-handicapper, so I got the vault irons, which are oversized, because of their forgiveness.
Pros: These irons are very forgiving and allows me to make solid contact more often. Eventhough they are oversized, I don't feel that their is much distance lost, if any, when you hit the ball square.
Cons: There is really not much I can say negative about these irons. For me, they work fine.
Quality: These irons are slightly offset as well, and appear to be made with high quality. I feel very good about purchasing these irons. Purchase: These are being sold at discount retialers and on Ebay. I gather that Tommy Armour essential replaced these with the new 854U Silverbacks iron set so they are going CHEAP!!!! I only paid $149.00
Pros: Excellent game improvment clubs. Shots go straight even on miss hits (to a limit of course, I can hit shots that no club could correct!!) Mid level height and average distance.
However for the cost conscience Golfer who wants improvement and lower scores these are the set.
Cons: Mid level height and average distance. I seem to have a harder time getting the short irons to acheive good height.
Quality: Excellent looking and the feel is good. Simple, basic looking club. Nothing Fancy. Review Summary: Excellent Value!! Buy them if you want to improve and save $$$.
