On 2006-06-07, Hello Hybrids! rated this Tommy Armour 845HB a 5...(7062)

Details: True Temper Reg shaft

Purchase: I've been playing Blade's for years and finally gave in a tried the Hybrid Irons. A Friend in work won these clubs in a Golf Outing, and said I should try them. Well I did and I can't believe how easy they are to hit. BEST $200 I EVER SPENT ON IRONS.
Pros: You have to figure if they make a terrible player better, they should help a decent player too right? I honestly hit my old 4 iron 180 in the air with a mid ball flight, decent spin but not grabbing the green. I Hit this hybrid 4 iron/wood consistently 195 yards with some serious height and even greater bite. The 3 HB was a solid 205 yards, and not rolling at all. Even the 845 irons go a little further, but the great thing is much higher with good control.
Cons: I Look like a real duffer with all these head covers in my bag, but when I'm collecting the $ at the end of the day WHO CARES?
Quality: The hybrid irons are very pleasing to the eye, and the irons set up nicely at address.

Review Summary: Never thought I'd be Playing any Hybrids, but I have to tell ya, These are very good looking Clubs, with even better looking results... Nothing ventured Nothing Gained!

Purchase: My clubs were a gift (though I picked them out) purchased at The Sports Authority for about $250. I chose these clubs because of the hybrid 3 and 4 irons and the design of the clubs.
Pros: Hybrid 3 and 4 irons are easy to hit. I have no trouble hitting the hybrid 3 iron 225-230 yards. All the clubs have great feel. I can always tell where I hit the ball on the face of the clubs. I alwasy shot close to 120 until I started using these clubs. Now I'm in the 95-100 every time out.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Excellent craftmanship for not a lot of money relative to other pro line clubs

Review Summary: Great set of irons for a mid to high handicapper looking to improve their game. Great feeling clubs at a great price.

Purchase: I purchased this set of irons off ebay for 225.00. I needed a set of clubs that would help me get the ball in the air easily and this set does it.The hybrid 3 and 4 irons are absolutely the easiest to hit. If you can hit your fairway woods at all then you will be able to crush these 2 clubs .I have struggled for years to hit my long irons but not with this set.
Pros: I love the way the clubs are set up to get the ball in the air easily.and the trajectory off the club face is high and awesome.
Cons: nothing so far
Quality: As always Tommy Armour has put out another quality set of clubs that are cheap ( price wise that is )and yet very very well made.

Review Summary: if you shoot in the 100's as i do and are ready to step up your game this is the set for you. you will not be disappointed.
