Purchase: Golf Galaxy for $19.99 for doz Pros: As advertised, I believe this is the best ball value in golf. Like everyone, I've been looking for a suitable (cheaper) relacement for ProV1. Around the greens this ball reacts very cloes to ProV1 (I have yet to find any ball that matches it). Off tee, it's very good. I like the 'click' off every club, versus the duller sound and feel off the urethane's. If TopFlite keeps this ball on the market for a while (unlike almost everyother maker), I may make this my ball. The durability for me has been very good. I think the other reviewers are a bit too harsh on this point. Cons: Only the TopFlite name. If I find a more prestigeous brand's ball for this price that plays like this, I may move to it. Quality: Review Summary: Best ball value in golf.

Purchase: Golf Galaxy, Plano Tx. $20 box of 12 Pros: Good distance, will hold on the green and a nice fee lon the putting green Cons: I played with them for the 1st time on Monday last. Great stop on the 1st green but the surface was torn. The ball became more and more ragged as the round progressed and by the end of the round I put it in th Juniors bin as I could not play arother round with it. On the Wednesday I played another new ball to see if I wsa unlucky with the 1st ball. I wasn't. The 2nd ball was as bad as the 1st....so the Gamer is consigend to the practice bag. Quality: Review Summary: It's a shame that the outer cover is so thin and can't take the normal ware and tare of a round of golf.
Great distance and stopping but I can't afford, (even at $20 a box) a new ball every round On 2008-11-13, DON rated this Top Flite Gamer a 5...(8222)
Details: Standard old white round golf ball
Purchase: I got a free 2 pack at a demo day. Pros: I got very good distance with this ball and impressive spin as well. It's very soft feeling aroung the greens. Chipping and putting is very good. Price is hard to beat. I believe you can find this ball for around $15 a dozen. For a 3 piece ball that's very good price. Cons: The ball will scuff a little more than some of the top quality balls available, but not bad enough to be a real problem. I played one ball for 18 holes and it only had two scuff marks that I could find. I've played a few balls that are a lot worse and cost a lot more. Quality: Very soft core and cover. Quality seems to be very good, even if the ball does scuff a little more than some. Review Summary: Excellent ball with good distance and spin around the greens. Very soft feel, which I like for chipping. I've played other mid price balls in the $20 to $25 price range that I didn't like half as much as this Gamer. If you like to play a softer ball in the cold weather months, this ball is the one you should try. The price is right, the spin is very good, and it's very soft. A playing partner didn't like it very much as he said it felt mushy off the club, it was too soft for him. I'd have to say it's the best ball in the $25 and under price range that I've played.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
