Purchase: I purchased the balls at a Sports Authority for $12.50 per dozen, on sale, but I have been seeing them for about $20 per dozen. I bought the balls because of the three piece construction and the price.
Pros: A very solid ball...I just got back from playing with them and I am happy with the way the ball performed. It had good distance off the tee, felt solid off the irons and had good control with the wedges. I have just started playing and have been trying out a variety of balls, two piece models that claimed distance and control, but this Top-Flite is the best so far.
Cons: It does not float...I put one in the pond.
Quality: Very durable...on a drive, my ball hit the cart path three times and showed only very minor wear. I continued to use the ball for the rest of the round and it played fine for me.

Review Summary: I am going to continue to use the ball...the price is great for a three piece ball and the durability was very good. I liked the feel and distance of the ball. I would recommend them to a friend.

Purchase: I have used a Top-Flite ball for the last 30 years. I purchased this ball from Wal-Mart for about $17.00.
Pros: This ball is as long as most balls I have used. This is the only Top-Flite ball that has exceptional spin.
Cons: The cover is easy to scuff.
Quality: I bought 4 dozen and tested for roundness by floating in salt water. Only 6 of the 48 balls were "out of round".

Review Summary: For the price this is the best ball I have found that combines distance, spin and accuracy on the greens.

Purchase: I read a short equipment review about this new ball in a Golf Magazine. They sounded too good to be true so I gave them a shot. Paid $20.00 for a dozen at a local golf store.
Pros: High quality ball for a VERY reasonable price. Has a great feel, very respectable distance off the driver, and good control around the green.
Cons: Unlike previous Top Flight balls, this ball is not as durable.
Quality: Again, a high quality ball for a low price.

Review Summary: About all I can say is congratulations to Top Flight! Those folks really out-did themselves on this nugget.

Purchase: After reading about the new multi-layer ball in some of the golf magazines I purchased a sleeve at a golf shop for $5.50 a sleeve. I also bought a sleeve of Hogan Apex Tour for comparison. The Hogans cost $10.00. I had also read the Apex was a long premium ball.
Pros: I played the Hogan for 18 holes on Saturday at a course that is known for it's fast greens. It felt very soft off of the club face and seemed to generally hit and stop on the greens. I backed a few sand wedge shots behind where the ball initially landed. This was not the norm for me and left me short on a few holes. On Sunday I played the Top-Flite Tour ball. This ball was just as good or better for me. It felt soft off of the putter and I got good distance from the tee with excellent feel.
Cons: I did get a scuff from the cart path on one drive with the Top-Flite. Otherwise it made it through the round looking like a Pro V1 or a Nike Tour Accuracy. Still playable but used.
Quality: The Top-Flite Tour is very similar in distance, feel, spin and durability to other brand premium balls. But at half of the price. If it did not say Top-Flite you would not know the difference.

Review Summary: I am very satisfied with my purchase. I like to use a new ball at least every round and with the Pro V1, for instance, I didn't feel like I could. I thought I would like the Hogans better but I will continue to play the TF Tour until something new comes along.

Purchase: I bought a sleeve of these balls on the recommendation of the pro at a high end course in the Palm Beach area. I was asking him about the new Hogan Apex, whether or not all the hype was for real. He said the Hogan is a great ball, but that the Tour was 99% of the ball for 1/2 the price. I took him up on it ($6/sleeve) and after playing an A10 for the front nine, I switched to the Tour for the back. Wow, was I impressed.
Pros: This ball has a great feel off the driver, like most of the new solid balls. It is as long as the A10, but felt like it had a little more zing coming off the face. With irons, the feel is exactly what I like. I prefer a little pop coming off the face and have never liked the overly soft feel of some balls (Precepts come to mind). However, around the greens, this ball feels just like the Strata's I played for a couple years before switching to the A10. All this for $20 a dozen. Can't beat it with a stick.
Cons: I have no complaints. I even like it when others notice I'm playing a Top Flite. Usually there is a status thing (Pro V1 anyone?), but I'm a value buyer and this is one heck of a value.
Quality: This is a 3 piece solid ball, with multiple layers. The durability has been impressive, especially compared to other high end balls like the new Hogan (so I have read) and the Pro V1.

Review Summary: In my experience, this is absolutley, positively the best bang for your buck available today. Unless you are a 5 or under and can truly appreciate the subtle differences b/w this ball and the Hogan, I think you will be blown away, just like I have been. Get over the image and tee this thing up. You won't regret it.
