Purchase: I purchased a box of 15 of these at Target for $15. I was looking for a "daily" golf ball, something that was cheap enough for everyday use yet decent characteristics. Pros: For the price I'm not sure you could find much better. although the Super Feel is only a 2 piece it has a nice soft feel, granted nothing like the Titlest Pro V1x but thats comparing apples to oranges. The Super Feel is softer than say the XL2000, or the various brands of 2 piece "distance" balls. Cons: For being a 2 piece ball @ $15 a box I have no complaints. If you're looking for more performance without regard for price I have found the Titleist ProV1x to be excellent. Quality: The cover holds up well, and seems to be of good construction. For tournament play or important/special rounds I'd suggest the Nike One Black, Callaway HX Tour Black, or Titleist ProV1 or ProV1x. Which all average around $40 a dozen. Review Summary: In the low price range ($10-20) these are at the top. They rank right up there with the Nike Mojo ($20) and Maxfli Noodle ($20) at two-thirds the cost.

Purchase: I have found many of these in pristine condition while walking the edges of fairways. Gave them a whack to see if Top Flite had improved any on their XL 2000 rocks. Pros: That I found them and didn't have to pay a red cent for them! Cons: Same old Rock Flite, different name. Granted they are softer than the XL 2000's were, but no performance to speak of. No spin on approach shots. Still feel pretty hard when struck with the irons. Quality: These are down to about 10.99 a dozen now. You get what you pay for... Review Summary: I only use these for practice, much like my local driving ranges. Don't waste money on these. I know they're only $10.99 a dozen, but do yourself a favor and buy a box of Precept Laddies or Maxfli Noodles and get some performance for you buck. If you're THAT worried about losing balls that you will only pay $10.99, you should be going to the driving range anyway!!!:) On 2002-09-01, Howard Lee rated this Top Flite XL 3000 Super Feel a 5...(496)
Purchase: I picked these up at Wal-Mart for $17.88 for 15. I was looking for a ball that might give my wife some extra yardage, mainly off the tee. She had been using Lady Pinnacles and they seemed fairly hard and she wasn't getting the distance it seemed she should.
As it turns out I picked up some Lady Precepts for her, and they turned out great for her. I had also been looking for a softer feel ball for myself, but didn't want to give up distance or control.
Before we golfed next I put these XL 3000 Super Feels in my bag. They gave me great feel, more distance, and good spin to hold greens! I am not a long hitter (being 55 yrs. old), but I hit some of the longest drives I have hit this season! I even hit a 3 Wood 230 yards to a green to within 8 feet! That is just about as far as my normal drives have been! I was also able to work this ball very well and get good spin on chip shots. I think I have ended my long search for a ball after trying nearly every ball on the market, and they are a bargain at the price. Pros: More distance, great feel, able to work the ball, good spin, and excellent value.
Cons: Nothing Quality: Played 22 holes with one ball and it still looked like new.
22 holes and not a scuff or mark tells it all. Review Summary: I was pleasantly surprised to find a ball at this price and availability that suited me after trying so many higher priced golf balls. My search may be over!
Problem: What to do with all the balls I have accumulated during my search!
Plus: My wife will stop thinking I'm crazy for buying box after box of different golf balls. On 2002-08-24, Oldenboy rated this Top Flite XL 3000 Super Feel a 5...(456)
Purchase: Less than 20 bucks at Target. Pros: I kinda’ like my NXT Tours. I've been playing with them most of this year.
But it’s been dusty and dry up here in the Great Northwest this summer, so I started looking for a cheap alternative with more spin – so my short iron shots would stick to greens.
I tried Top Flite’s ‘Super Spin’. OK ball. Less distance than the NXT Tours, but life is full of trade-offs. Bad news is that he ‘Spins’ have a horrible cover. You can scrape it just by putting it in your pocket and jingling it with your change.
So I bought a 3 pack of Top Flite ‘Super Feel’ balls. These are wonderful. Great feel, good spin, and the distance is fine and dandy. Certainly as far as the NXTs. I'd be surprised if more than a few yards separates them on a 250ish-yard drive. I’ve hit them at least 275 a handful of times.
Sturdy cover, too.
They say they’re low compression, for slow swing speeds. Well, I ain’t anywhere near a Pro, but I have a pretty good swing and I don’t think anybody would say that it’s ‘slow’. I’d give it a B or if you’re picky maybe a B- as far as swing speed. So don’t be put off by the ‘slow swing speed’ hype.
I've also played with the Noodle and the LoCo. These are much better.
Cons: Nada. Quality: Review Summary: For less than 20 bucks for fifteen at Target, they might replace NXT Tours as my ball of choice. (Actually, I think they already have.)
P.S. I hit a Pro V1 for the first time the other day. A drive. Wow. How sweet. How long. I decided not to hit it again. I don’t ever want to hit another one unless I win the lottery…
