Purchase: I bought these balls at Academy. I paid around $16.00 for a box of 15 balls. I have been using XL 3000 super long.
Pros: I get a lot of spin on the ball with these balls. I'm now able to stop the ball where I want it.
Cons: I do experence a little more hook or slice than with the super long but I really can't tell any difference in distance.
Quality: These balls are very durable and are much better weighted than the XL 2000's I used last year.

Review Summary: This is the next geration of ball for the buyer who is looking for quality and value in the same package.

Purchase: i HAD PLAYED A FEW OF THE XL 2000'S AND LIKED THEM. I BOUGHT 2 DOZEN 3000 SPIN BALLS AT A GOLF SHOW FOR $14.00 A DOZEN.
Pros: I AM A 4 HANDICAP AND GENERALLY DON"T CARE WHAT KIND OF BALL I PLAY AND I AM HITTING THIS AS LONG AS ANY MORE EXPENSIVE BALL AND HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE STOPPING THEM ON THE GREEN. I ALSO HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH PUTTING THEM. ON OCCASSION I HAVE PLAYED WITH "BETTER" BALLS AND SEE NO GREATER PERFORMANCE.
Cons: THERE IS NOTHING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE BALL.
Quality: THIS IS A TWO PIECE BALL. I WILL SAY THE OTHER DAY I PLAYED WITH ONE BALL FOR 34 HOLES AND DISCOVERED A CRACK IN THE BALL, BUT TOP FLIGHT IS SENDING ME ANOTHER SLEEVE.

Purchase: The greens are getting hard here in the Great Northwest as summer continues. My NXT Tours were sliding right off, even with high-arced approaches. More spin was needed. So there I was at Target. Less than twenty bucks for fifteen. Why not.
Pros: These Top Flites pretty much do the job. I get a bit less carry and roll off the tee, but it's a fair exchange for a lot more bite. They're a joy to hit with any club - but do take a bit of getting used to with the putter. These balls don't scuff up too badly - although the NXT Tours are more resilient.
Cons: For the price and spin, not much to dislike.
Quality: Pretty well constructed. Cheap ink, though. It doesn't take much for it to chip and fade.

Review Summary: When it starts to rain again, I'll switch back. For now, a super price for a super-spin ball.
