On 2005-01-21, Equipment Nut rated this Top Flite XL3000 Super Long a 4...(4947)

Purchase: I first buy my XL3000 balls in Golf Town(Canada). It is a 15-ball pack, and has 3 extra Top-Flite Tour balls. They only sell it approximately $18 (in 2004), which is ideal. There are Super Straight, Super Soft and Super Spin models with a similar package as well.
Pros: The strength of these balls is their feel on the putter. The pitch of sound of this ball is high and pure, and it tells you how hard you hit this putt. I use these balls for practice putting balls at home ever since. The feel and distance of this ball is wonderful, too.
Cons: The compression of this ball might be a little low for high-speed swingers. The spin of this ball is weak as well, so not using this ball to attack firm greens might be a good thought.
Quality: The ball pack is inexpensive, and they have good qualities. In my opinion, the Super-Longs were better than the Super-Feels because it has better distance and feel.

Review Summary: They are worth to buy, and can be exellent practice balls.
