Purchase: I got 15 of these at Wal-MArt for like 13 bucks, which is a good price considering that I am not the most experianced golfer. Pros: These balls have dramatically reduced the killer slice that I hit with practically every other ball I have tried, but with a few exceptions now and then, I not slicing the ball anywhere near the trees. And suprisingly these balls feel good off the driver AND the putter. Cons: One of the only things I dont like is, due to the teflon on the outside, you cant put as much spin on the ball with your irons, that is unless you happen to be that good..... Quality: Overall, this is a very good ball, it looks good, and is pretty durable, I usually use the same one all round, and at the end there are few, if any scratches of scuffs on the ball. Review Summary: If you are like me, a beginning golfer, you wont regret going out and buying this golf ball.

Purchase: I bought this ball in my quest to help eliminate (let's be realistic... reduce)a slice. I usually buy my golf balls at Wal Mart and pay about $16 for a package of 15. Sometimes you can even get an extra sleeve of Strata golfballs included free. Pros: The XL3000 Super Straight is the follow-on to the XL2000 Magna ball which I liked as well. I'm not sure if I've improved my swing more or if the XL3000 has helped but my slice is definately not as bad as before...probably a combination of both. The ball is very durable and stays in good condition so that you can use it for several rounds of golf if you don't a)lose it or b)figure that if the pros don't do it, you're not going to hit a used ball. Whenever my birthday, father's day, or Christmas comes around, hints for XL3000 are not in short supply. Cons: This is not really a dislike, just an oddity I have noticed. The Teflon coating on the ball, which is supposed to reduce drag I guess, makes the ball impossible to mark. I've tried putting my identifier on them with pens, markers, even paint pens and everything rubs off immediately. Oh well, if you want to make sure you're hitting the right ball, just make sure someone else playing a XL3000 is not hitting the same number ball as you. No big deal. Quality: To tell you the truth, I have no idea how the ball is constructed and I really don't care. I've never had one fall apart so I don't know what's inside. It works...who cares how it's made. Quality, however, is another matter. Like I said earlier, the durability of the ball is excellent...my biggiest problem is losing them not damaging them. Review Summary: I'm not a great golfer(average score is in the 90s) but I enjoy the game a great deal. The XL3000 Super Straight is part of the game that helps me to have a lot of fun...I like it...I will continue to buy it. Purchase: I paid $16.88 for 5 sleeves (15 balls) at a local Wal-Mart the day of golf outing. I was looking for something new to try out and had yet to experiment with the new XL3000 series from TopFlite. Pros: A teflon cover is given to this ball to prevent spin off the club face and hence provide straighter ball flight. This feature has a material effect on reducing slicing off the tee. The ball is also very attractive and somewhat scuff proof. I played an entire round with this ball and only minor damage resulted. Of course, when you're hitting the ball straighter, you're also bouncing off of less obstacles as well. Cons: There's not much to dislike about this ball. It's priced very inexpensively (almost $1 a ball!) and is an overall decent ball. The XL3000 isn't necessarily the longest off the tee, but it won't cheat you on distance and what it provides in ball flight more than makes up the difference. Heck, when I slice I usually go 100 yards out and 150 to the right. The XL3000 has helped me straighten that out. Quality: Decent quality for an inexpensive ball. Teflon cover. Good construction. Would recommend this ball to others. Review Summary: If you're looking for one of the most inexpensive balls that still holds up under harsh conditions, takes some spin and slice away from your drives and doesn't hurt your distance, check out the new Top Flite XL3000. Purchase: I got these balls a k-mart for $20.00 Pros: These are nice balls, and they fit in your pockets well, and ive noticed i got more distance with these Cons: I don't like it because my shot still had a bad slice in it, and ive been taking lessons, and i seem not to slice with the regular course balls Quality: its a durable ball, ive never had one crack on me and i give them alota crap. ( hitting them at trees, throwing them at walls) they just will not break. Review Summary: I wouldnt recomend buying these, but if you want a durable ball, these are for you.
