On 2007-04-04, Monty rated this Tour Edge 3, 4 and 5 Iron Wood a 5...(7710)

Details: I choose the Senior Flex Graphite for all three clubs. I am a fairly large senior and I'm trying to limit my overswing which may come from stiffer shafts.

Purchase: After trying out the TaylorMade Draw Rescue and the Tour Edge IronWood at Hilton Head, I chose the Tour Edge. The Tour Edge hit further, as straight and as softly as the much more expensive TaylorMade. I liked the 3 and 4 so much, I bought a 5 IronWood. Each club was about $70 with tax.
Pros: As I noted above, the Tour Edge hit further and easily as nice as the TaylorMade. The grips are very comfortable and the Senior flex shafts are dandy.
Cons: Sadly, the Tour Edge will not consistently overcome my bad swing habits.
Quality: Superb quality, easily on par with the much more costly clubs.

Review Summary: Simply put, I lucked into 3 very, very good utility clubs. I heartily recommend that all golfers, regardless of skill and age, give these beauties a try before paying an unnecessary big name premium.
